News on the new Lian Li's

Love the looks of the V300.

I want to see closer pics of where the CPU HSF is going to be in the case though. Pics from inside. The PSU looks very close to it.

I hope they arn't gonig to cost an arm an a leg :D
 
v300 and S80 are the two that have not got through most retail channels yet.

Typical that two of the three cases I want to see are the ones that take a age to come into stock.

I have had v1000's as my main rig for a couple of years, that is insane for me as I used to switch every couple of months!

S80 is the only case I consider a possible upgrade from the S80, the TJ07 was a complete failure in my eyes, again this is my opinion but I think it is one of the biggest rip offs made; stacker but in aluminium giving you temps that only look good in figures. Also a £200 case should not have issues, same with my disgust at buying a v1000.

Thank god for the V1000+; I just hope they get the S80 right first time, it took them 5 years to get the PC7 perfect mind.
 
Ive had a couple of Lian Li's in the past, PC60 and 65, PC37 and PC50 i did want a full tower but always shyed away when i saw the price :)

Seeing as im moving to a smaller room in the house, i need to cut things down a bit... think the V300 is going to be perfect... The Sugo is nice but its just not floating my boat at all! :(
 
The drive bays out of each side eman the v300 will be tubby, but under the desk as a server box for me personally that one has me drooling, the hard drive potential in a case of its style is phenominal!

Nitrix any chance of some internal shots please of the g70 as am getting one soon and just wondering what its like for space :p cheers

Im not knocking the work effort too, but I know where your coming from mate. I prefer the sleek black version - there is no way I would EVER want it ginger! :p :p :p

Not just you, have you seen it in person as my gosh its a beauty! I even want it in black!

And the copper Lian Li looks great to me, its not over doing it, the shine is what makes that case so imagine it with a 201b style shine.

(Although anodised not painted)

I'm a orient with "Copper" dyed hair, so am I the likes of Annie Robinson yet? ;)

I don't see why people are waiting for the V300. Granted it looks nice but rather inpractical to have the CD slots on the side?
 
I have a v300 getting here on saturday.

The slots are on both side but it doesnt mean it can house 4 drives. you can have them either on the right or on the left.

The impractability of the floppy caddy blocking any 9" graphics cards is annoying, but i plan to dremel that off.

Ill put a post up of it when i move my system into it.
