Take a look at that and make your own mind up how long it will be, remembering that a lot of those orders are from release in September!

Numbers are looking terrible on 3080 and 3090 for March with no forward shipments coming from any vendor.

Ouch, didn't know the 3080's are the worst for back orders... just seen the list, makes sense.

Should be interesting to see what happens with the 3080ti..
 
Had a happy nephew yesterday evening when I told him I had snagged a 3070 for him on the last drop.

Woke up this morning to see OCuk had cancelled it at 1:08 this morning. Strange time to cancel it, there wouldn’t be many people in the office at that time of day!
 
OCUK have apologised for an error in which some cards went on sale when they shouldn't have, so unfortunately it meant a late night for some of them to cancel the orders and inform the community. I am sure that they share any frustration you and your nephew experienced on the news

In the grand scheme of things it is not really much of an issue. I’ll just be keeping my eyes open for more stock as and when it appears.

Mind you his wife will just have to put up with his moaning about scalpers/miners for a little longer. :D
 
Hi, I got a 3070 on the drops on 23 March and phoned up and was told my order will be fulfilled when they get stock because they oversold, am I to interpret this thread as meaning it's actually been cancelled and just hasn't come through yet? Would be such a disappointment, I'd rather wait! Thanks

That was a different drop, so yours probably won’t be cancelled.

I wouldn’t hold your breath I’ve had email confirmations of an order for a 6700XT but apparently my Amazon Pay (which has all shipping, billing and payment details pre saved) didn’t pull through to Overshockers end so they cancelled the order.
 
I've actually had the extortionate price of £800 deducted from my bank account, so I'm a little more hopeful.

E: Does anyone from OCUK know when you're expecting new stock of Palit OC 3070s that might fulfil my order? Thanks

Depends as a retailer how much they can be bothered, I guess 300 cards to miners is still £££.

I've tried with a sign up service and it's always sold out by the time I open the link lol

I really can't understand why we don't have recaptcha things. Bots can't solve those, and I'm forever doing them, so why not on sale of gpus? Is there more to it than that?

Haha even if I got to 1000 I'd have no hope of getting a card on here imo. I lost all hope a long time ago, even with bots and forums I'm signed up to (discord ect) everything is always gone by the time your link has opened.

And I stupidly had a 6800 in my basket but decided to check a review to see a bench before I waxed £550 (in case it was shocking, which tbh we didn't know amd were gonna even come close to matching nvidia).
5 mins it took me. Lol I had no chance! 4mins 50 secs too long

Cba anymore. Good fun chatting on here though. Despite the bad situation the trade is in the community certainly lives on
