*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

You do understand that it is a next generation dual core?

Quad core A9 Class (Current)
Dual core A15 Class (Nexus 10)

No, really? :p Yes, of course I realise. Doesn't change the fact I wish they had rolled out the quad core in the next premium tablet first. The new Chromebook form Samsung is getting complaints of stuttering even with the dual-core Exynos 5.

Yeah, but it is running Chome OS!

I know, but it still shouldn't really be stuttering playing 1080p etc. Either way im sure people said the Exynos 4 and Mali 400 was enough when it came out... then look what a difference the new quad SOC in the SGS III made. Difference is this time that the Quad SOC is ready, and imo should have been used.

Have you ordered one or are you just here to moan? :p

It's a tech section and I am giving an opinion, give me a break it's not as though I have a bad track record in this section. :p :d

Im deifnitely going to sell my Samsung 7.7 soon though, it feels very underpowered lately. I'll either replace it with this, or wait for a new 7" tablet using Exynos 5.

Maybe he wants an A6X in his ;)
YEAH, gimme an iPad, mang!

After all the mucking about google wallet is telling me I have ordered 3 32gb models :eek:although I only got an on screen confirmation for the last one. All the other tries told me that there is an error and I would not be charged?
I know its nearly christmas, but not feeling that generous at the moment:D

Not really sure I understand your point though, from all the reviews I have read their one major triumph they have given the N10 is that it is extremely smooth, extremely responsive and plays 1080p flawlessly.

I always want the best tech available in a premium device. *shrugs*

They will probably upgrade it with Quad Core in 6-8 months or less, and I don't like buying a new SOC model only to see it outdated so relatively quickly. Tablets aren't like computer parts, you have to replace the whole device so I don't upgrade as flippantly or as frequently as I do a GPU or CPU. I can wait though in this instance I guess.

The problem here is twofold, no matter when you buy there is something better just around the corner.

Question being is the quad even going to be utilised enough?

My xoom2 runs sweet as a nut, this is more powerful with newer os... I can't fault a purchase.

Well this sucks. Been trying to order it since 8, managed to get it in my cart a few times, but keep getting errors either at the proceed stage or the wallet stage. Then at around 9 it disappears from my basket, so I go back to add it back in, but...

:(

Checked again now, still same message...
