*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

I think they're just pushing them out too fast, not letting the glass set in place properly. If you bend it back the bleed almost all goes suggesting that the glass isnt being stretched out enough.

It's worrying how many people are getting them with seals broken.

The seals on mine are a little battered but not atually broken, have to wait until this evening to turn it on and have a look at light bleed though.

Be nice if they actually shipped mine as people are receiving them who ordered yesterday, mine ordered sunday is still showing pre-ordered

That's typical Google. I thought I won't get mine till Wednesday at least as I placed the order on Monday afternoon, but it turned up at 8:30 am this morning. It's a bit strange that there's no Queuing process in the ordering system

How many people are suffering with crashes/resets on their Nexus 10? Seems to be reasonably occurent, happens about once every 1 or 2 days.
Usually once a day. It's weird because it's pretty much guaranteed that it will crash once a day, no more no less.

And there is no pattern, I could have been running for hours with many different apps and installs or it could be after 2 mins.

Right, now I feel a bit more comfortable about mine crashing. It's exactly the same, it's almost as though it needs to crash. After that it will carry on fine, but of course it is random and it will inevitably appear again at some point.

Didn't like the idea of sending mine back only to find that I have screen leak and all that crap, so that's cool.

The first unit I had did the same thing also.

I guess if other people are not having any problems it's possibly certain apps, I have tried un-installing a few to no avail.

The crash is not a big issue though as the nexus boots up really fast. On my old xoom2 before the ICS update it would take 3 - 5 minutes to boot up.

I ordered mine on Sunday too. Phoned Google and got put through to a lad called Johnny. He said it was with TNT waiting to go out and it should be with me by Thursday. No acknowledgement of shipping yet though.

Had the same discussion, bloody useless.

Mine turned up yesterday. I couldn't see any issues with screen/backlight bleed when I was using it with all the lights off.

I'm impressed with it so far, just need some apps/games to run on it :)

If you work Mon-Fri I wouldn't bother ordering from google

TNT only deliver Mon - Fri, you get no choice of delivery day, and due to Googles instructions to TNT they will not

Leave with a Neighbour
Leave it on your premises
Arrange delivery to another address (work)

They just keep turning up the next day, knowing full well you are out.

I'm having to drive 40 mins to pick mine up before they send it back to Google.

If I have all the issues mentioned in the thread (lightbleed etc) I think I'll top myself. To be honest if its bad I'm returning the tablet and buying from John Lewis etc (lesser tablet)

OK so its very nice, it does have bleed but its not too bad.....there's one problem I have with the screen though.

Can those who have one test this please: go to the forum index and put the tab in portrait mode, then scroll up and down. Does the page slope as if one half of the screen updates faster than the other side? It does on mine and turning it upside down the same side appears to be updating faster.

My galaxy tab 7 plus has this issue too, I'm wondering if lots of tabs do it and I'm just sensitive to it :-\

Also, I think I might have been naive to think that it'd be as fast as a nexus 4, it feels noticeably more juddery at first.
