I agree the standard chrome browser is great, I use it across, ipad, mac, windows, android and android tab, but that beta is even better.

I got a bit confused too but then searched the browser version of the Play store and found it there.

It's much better than stock Chrome I must say, instead of limiting the webpage to a width of 960 pixels, it chooses a much better 1280, meaning the webpages look and feel more comfortable. However, there does seem to be some issues like text rendering, but this is just a beta so hopefully a couple of updates will iron that out.

Firefox also seems to have updated as well, and feels faster too, but Chrome beta just blows it out of the water . However, it looks like Firefox will have a lot more customisation options in the next update...

Its not the same app

It's like an early access to new versions app like the developer version of Chrome on desktops or cyanogenmod nightlies

There are two Chrome browsers, one is the regular Stable version and the other one is the Beta (latest features etc) version. So they are two different apps and you can run both of them side by side if you find the beta buggy.

How's the text rendering on tablets? On my S3 the font size on the forum here (and some other sites) is all over the place. One post will be the correct size, then the next few may be double that, then back to normal! Any better on tablets?

I have that on my phone too but on the N10 it seems to be fine. Can't open settings though
