*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

Anyone had any performance issues of late? Suddenly the other day it started slowing down and I can't quite work out why. Really unresponsive at seemingly random intervals.

Is there any way I can get to a task manager of sorts to see what's going on?

Are you using Chrome or Chrome beta as a browser? It seems that for some reason if I start using chrome the tablet starts having a hissy fit.

not had any issues, i suggest you look through what apps have gone on of late as there has been no system updates of late that would cause it.

What do you do if you want to go on a flash site?

Well I'm never that far away from a PC, but I struggle to think of a site that has lots of flash that I use. I guess its only the BBC site. And there is a BBC news and sport app that has all the top stuff.

Flash is dead, the failure to hook up with apple a few years back cost them. I look fwd to the day I don't need flash player installed anywhere and all sites have moved away

Firefox, but just for the Firefox sync as I use it on the desktop, and the adblock add-on. There's no perfect browser for Android yet to be honest...

Yes you can, but as Skyfall mentioned, you need to use this app or root your tablet for the free alternatives.

The drive also needs to be formatted in FAT32 for the Nexus to read from it.

Has anyone had any success with using ntfs Flash drives and the usb otg cable? There seem to be conflicting reports online. Some people say they use ntfs formatted Flash drives and portable hard drives with nexus 10 to play 10gb+ mkv files were others say they can't.

Edit: just read this on the description for the nexus media importer app

-The USB drive/flash memory card must be formatted as FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS (no exFAT or extN support). FAT & NTFS are the most common formats for flash cards and USB Drives.-Read Only for NTFS.-Hard Drives.

So seems that ntfs is fine?

Has anyone had any luck playing 10-bit videos smoothly?

I can't seem to find a video player that handles everything flawlessly, BSPlayer, MXPlayer and Dice all struggle with 10-bit files, or simply won't play them at all.
