*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

Im still trying to make my mind up what to get.

Its Nexus 7 (32gb) or Nexus 10 16gb

Someone make my mind up please. I'm after a tablet and i've decided its between these two.

I'm going to go for the 10 too. What's the situation with Flash, last I read Adobe don't support it for mobile devices now? Will BBC iPlayer still work? Is there a native app for it? Or will you have to visit the website and it will code it using HTML5?

I'm new to Android so I don't really know much.

Any idea if usb sticks draw a lot of power when plugged into tablets ?, I'm thinking of getting a 16GB Nexus 10 and Kingston DataTraveler Elite 32GB stick for putting movies etc on.

You could just move the movie you need and unplug it, would think its better to run things off the internal memory, less things can go wrong that way.

cheers, I think I'll wait for the Nexus 10 then, I didn't realise it was that powerful.

I'm pretty neutral when it comes to ios/android, just want the best for my money.

It all depends on which apps you intend to use, for the most case it would be a better experience on iOS. For me I want to mainly use the web, and watch things, for this android is match better. Better codec support and a better aspect ratio for Movies.

I wouldn't also worry too much about how powerful these things run, the A6X is a nice chip and well be more then enough, however I fully expect the A15's in the N10 to blow everything out of the water.

What will this be like with video playback? Will it support all formats?

If it was running touchwiz that would be a big fat YES. However with android you can just download a 3rd party media player, these offer almost every codec, much better UI then can be found on anything stock (including iOS). Most allow you to control volume and brightness with a single swipe which I love.

Great news :)

Do you have any experience with Polaris office? Can it open open office and Microsoft office docs for easy editing?

Cant make up my mind for the 7 or 10. I have a 7 now, and really like the size....but it is all about inches isnt it.....

My plans to this hit a massive big HALT! last night when I happened to buy a lovely book on iBooks. I suddenly realised that I have around <25 iBooks on my iPad, so I was left with a puzzled expression on my face as I don't want to abandon them yet again - done that so many times in the past.

That's the problem with the different ecosystems using their own little ways of doing things!

Best to buy them from the kindle app, as you can read them on any platform.
