Nexus 5 2015 refresh

I wouldn't say plenty but for the most part if I remember to remove old images/videos from my 32GB Nexus 5 then I never have storage issues.

Can't wait to find out the official specifications for this!

I do like my Z3C and feel it is the perfect size... BUT I could be swayed by another Nexus device. Still got the N5, but the N6 was just toooooo big!

I think 32Gb is plenty no? But I suppose everyone is different. I still have around 10gb free.

I have the 16GB N5 and haven't even used half. I have never been one for storing much data.
I would love to be able to pick battery size and camera specs in a phone, hopefully one day!

Me, assuming big enough battery and great camera.

Throughout all the leaks and rumoured specs the battery in both models has been nothing but woeful.

But then a woeful battery is basically the industry standard now. I've swung away from the Nexus range in search of better batteries, but have now swung back as nothing seems to have one. If I'm going to be forced to have a phone with a crap battery, I may as well have the best stock Android phone with a crap battery.

Only interested in the 5 though (even with that stupid camera), the 6 is just stupid big.

Just got a Moto X Play, 3600mah battery.... Coming from a Nexus 5 the battery life is a revelation!

I've never found the N5 battery to be that poor. Sure it's a little slow sometimes, but when you've got time to take a proper shot it invariably turns out really nicely.

My very early inside rumour suggests the 3Gb will be available on the 32Gb variant and 2Gb on the 16Gb. LG have done that with their own phones in the past, although, I can't really see why....

If that is indeed the final spec of the 5X it all seems very 'meh'.

Also if the dimensions I've seen are correct it will also be taller, wider, thicker and heavier than my S6 Edge...
I think part of the problem is the 2 releases this year around, don't think could have the 810 chip in both models and needed the new 6 model to be seen as a upgrade to the 5.

I'm still rocking my old N5 and it's still going great guns. Did a complete factory reset on it early in the year and it's been the best thing to happen to it, nice and nippy and the battery still lasts a decent length of time.

However i'm just using it as a bluetooth hotspot for my little laptop to use and have another phone for general use.

Part of the problem sure...but look at Sony, they release a Z5 and a Z5 Compact which is essentially the same spec in terms of internals but the resolution on the Screen is their main difference if we ignore the difference in size.

I just don't see why Google couldn't have taken that approach also.

You then have to consider the fact that the recently announced XIAOMI MI 4C has essentially the same/similar spec as the Nexus 5X coming in at an astounding price point...ok limited to China initially but it's equivalent of approx $250.

What I would LOVE to see from Google, considering the spec, is that they release the 5X at an extremely aggressive price point...I will be interested in their approach and if there are any surprises.
