If the price is right I'm tempted to get this upon release - hope the Google Play store doesn't get destroyed like it did on the Nexus 4 release.

I can only see it being worse sadly. Much more hype about this than the N4, and the Nexus line has got a lot more popular since that release.

Although, hopefully Google had learnt from that release as well and put some better systems in place. Maybe they'll even have a bit more stock available!

I think it was pretty obvious that it wasn't going to be less than £250, £299 is most likely for 16GB.

I'll be shocked if it's not considerably more expensive. The Nexus 4 was a fantastic phone but lacked LTE and a decent camera. If the Nexus 5 has improved on those two areas it's obviously going to attract a higher price tag due to the additional value of the components used.

I'm expecting £300 for the 16GB and £350 for the 32GB version which will still be great value for the very best Android phone money can buy.

But at the same time, tech is a year older. I can't see prices moving much.

Need to get a new phone soon. Must have something in my hands by 8th or 9th November at the latest. Waiting for solid news on Nexus 5 is a pain in the rear!!!
