Latest rumour I am hearing is 31 October which could be a blockbuster day for all things Google!

Hearing Kit Kat (Android 4.4), Nexus 5 and perhaps a Google smart watch code named GEM, which will rely heavily on Google Now. Check this one out:

its dead easy to root/install ROM's on phones these days.. normally all it takes is 5-10 minutes and you're done

I find it bizarre that you consider battery percentage a "deal breaker" to begin with, but if it's that important why not root?

There is a battery percentage anyway you just need to bring the notification draw down.

it wasn't him.. but yeah not buying a phone because it has no battery % in the status bar is lolworthy excuse

The joys of a Nexus device within 10 minutes of opening the box you can have pretty much whatever you like going on and within a day you'll of tried every ROM going and settle with the first one you tried.

Well, that's my Nexus 4 sold for £200 on Gumtree. Probably the only time I will ever make a profit on a second hand phone!

Hopefully we will have a release date for the Nexus 5 soon

i tried others that people recommended and they were really unstable from clean flashes.

Running para now as it was the only decent 4.3 Rom at the time. Personally it's one of the most limited and buggy roms I have used.

I thought they were still in stock here at the beginning of the month. I suppose I am getting a little carried away with the anticipation of an imminent announcement.
