I am SERIOUSLY liking the look of the Nexus 5

hurry up and take my money!!!

I'm going to sell the mrs iPhone 5, give her ny Nexus 4 and buy the Nexus 5 with the iPhone money haha!

the only thing's i wish are upgraded compared to my nexus 4 are camera, heat dissipation (throttles all the time) and battery life.

anything else will just be a boost.

those are the only things i dislike about the nexus 4, to be fair though, the battery life is good now with custom rom's and updates but longer is always better.

For me:

- better calibrated screen out of the box (a bit more vibrant)
- better camera i.e. as good as the htc one/mote x when it comes to; capturing the majority of shots without blur/focus problems (too many other phones have problems with this and puts me of them completely! and the funny thing is people only realise this when they get their hands on them because most review sites use a tripod in order to keep it a fair test ), macro shots, low light, recording quality, wide FOV and a good amount of features with a much better camera UI, stock android sucks big time when it comes to those last two areas!
- louder speaker, nexus 4 speaker was a joke (even when the speaker wasn't placed flat against the desk)

Just imagine how much cheaper this could have been if they stuck with the S600 or went with the moto X CPU chipset :( So pointless having the S800 in a phone, just going to throttle and no need for that kind of power anyway as proven by the moto X and other phones.

edit:

oh yeah and stock android is looking terrible imo, looks too cartoonish from all the screenshots so far :/ Not liking the white icons or transparency stuff either.....

I don't intend on rooting etc. (like the majority of other people out there :p) so I won't be able to change the notification bar, buttons on the bottom.

Not a deal breaker by any means since it won't be a completely bloated ugly mess like some other skins..... but it is sad to see them getting rid of the blue/holo theme (IMO it was perfect, had a future feel/look to it), will only be a matter of time till they change the settings menu to a white card layout....

TBH it looks a bit silly having any blue/black/grey theme left over considering nowhere else has that theme any more apart from possibly the notification tray......

You would have saved about $10.

S800 is based on a newer process node too so better power savings aswell as enabling 1080p60 and 720p120 video recording too. And beastly GPU for intense games. S800 all the way. It gotta push ~2X the pixels as the Moto X.

Well lets just hope google do a good job with the driver/software optimisation and don't have a ton of bugs like the last few android releases...... :p

The S800 is more power efficient for day to day tasks, and it won't be much more expensive either.

There's a reason its getting picked over the S600 now.

Yeah didn't realise that it was better for power savings, as said above, lets just hope google get the software optimisation right this time round i.e. nexus 4/4.2 sucked big time when first released with regards to battery life (in theory it should have been amazing and better than the other flagship devices), was eventually fixed/improved with 4.2.2......
