Nexus 4 has now changed back to "We are out of inventory. Please check back soon."
Rather than "Coming soon."

Guessing they are planning to put LTE on it and re-release it as a cheaper device.

Didn't it already have LTE, but they disabled it via a firmware update?

I'm getting quite impatient too, I've had my Nokia Lumia 800 since release and I'm aching for a phone that can do anything other then browse the internet slowly! even the Youtube app got recalled and just redirects you to the website :<!

It had just 1 LTE band without anything else to support it (I believe they need some sort of booster but I cant recall what its called). This time it should have proper LTE to cover most of the world, similar to how they have done it in the Nexus 7 and apple has done with the new iPhone's.

I think they Nexus 5 will be announced next week, I have a feeling there waiting for the apple hype to die down a bit before they bring their new products.

That would tie in with it being available from the 9th from carriers as someone heard from one of the phone shops earlier in the thread.
