I've had a look at one in store, liked it, it also seems to get very good reviews, with all this bs I'm very tempted just to get the G2
Have had it for over two weeks now, love the device and the battery life is amazing ! my only problem is the storage, otherwise its a fantastic device.

Really enjoying my G2. I broke my n4 a month ago and thought I would wait for the n5, but the battery life on the G2 was too tempting, and it is amazing. A huge upgrade from the n4 and seeing that the n5 is 2300mAh I feel very happy with my choice.
Sure it's a little pricier, but I was more than happy to pay 29 a month with 50 up front for unlimited data and 500 mins and the camera and screen are amazing too. If my n4 broke today I'd probably wait for n5 reviews though, so hang on for a little bit longer I'd say.
That's what I'm doing, but I think I will get the N5 as I like stock Android and I don't want to wait when there's new updates.

LG aren't going to go out of their way to make an almost identical phone to their own for what amounts to a competitor who will then sell it at around half the price.
I'm still debating how feasible it will be to import a 32gb or SD-expandable G2 and stick CM10 on it. My head says don't, but I'll see what the N5 is like first, and then what is missing from the CM10 ROM.

This is true, but I'm amazed Google have allowed them to purposfully knobble it!

I'd be staggered if LG didn't negotiate it into their contract with Google to be honest. I'm sure anyone Google went to would do the same.
