Any one have experience vs s3?

I had an S3 and it is at least as good if not better IMO.

Having a very hard time deciding between this and a z2 right now, the way i see it

Sony:
Outright performance

expandable (although 16gb)

People wonder why batteries die buying cheap random chargers. For the sake of a couple of quid more I would rather have a decent one. Personal preference I get that.

er, the one linked was a Samsung 2A charger. Why did you buy an official one?

Really? I've tried both and to me the Nexus 5 might be better in low light, but everything else the S4 outright beats it to be honest.

I had the s4 and wasn't impressed with the camera at all!

I said on par. I would not dispute a claim the s4 camera is better. But is would say they are on the same page. Not much between them

The Z2 is a fantastic phone. Best of the new flag ships but you also have to consider its priced very highly and double the n5 contract prices are just as high.

If a Google edition version comes to the UK well that would be a dream as the Z2 is pretty wow

So glad I never upgraded to an S4. Kit Kat update and general Samsung bloat/software is terrible.

The Nexus 5 is just how I like Android, free from bloated UI's. The biggest issue I had with the S4 was TouchWiz. As much as Nova Launcher helped I was still peed that the phone was slow and full of junk Samsung apps which I never use. This is where of course the Nexus line excels. They also happen to be priced right.

If a GPE versions of a phone you want is released then you can flash it on your phone or even change it too the GPE versions IIRC.

I think the problem for me is most phones are much bigger now which is annoying.

i have big hands, and flashing the roms is not the same really, i dont want to root and get OTA updates

I feel you, I believe with the HTC you could actual switch your phone to the GPe so it wouldn't need root or anything afterwards and would receive OTA updates, and your phone would act as if you brought the GPe versions.

I don't see any reasons why it shouldn't but thus far Google has only done it in US which is weird.

With the M7 this was entirely possible. You could make your international a complete GPe device.
