Their returns department/work-experience training centre is utterly shocking, to the point of people struggling to arrange returns at all in the past, and I refuse to the be the guy to test whether they've improved.

When you've got Google and perhaps Amazon to deal with and their excellent support, and presumably plenty of other companies too, Expansys shouldn't be considered, even if you're saving quite a chunk of money.
 
The screens on this hone are soo flimsy everyone I know who has one has cracked te screen! Is this some new con to get us to pay more?

I'd echo that now.... just pulled my red bumper case off to swap in a new SIM and the back of my black N5 is now orange/red around the edges and the back!

Seen the same problem reported on the N7 (2013) with the N7 Folio Case, but haven't found any with the same problem on the N5.

Think I'll be speaking to support later today, as the phone looks a right hacky mess. Grrr....

UPDATE: bumper cost refunded. Escalated higher up support chain regarding damage to phone.
