*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

who's jumping ship to the N6?

i think i will as a fan boy, but overall the N5 has been my best phone ever. could easy go another 12 months on this with better battery on the L release

I won't because it is simply too big for a phone imo.

Much rather google have stuck with a 5" 1920x1080 OLED screen, not only would it be the perfect size (imo) but it would have been a lot cheaper too.

I honestly think google have dropped the ball.

I think a 5" and a 6" is a better selection than two 5"...

I do understand though, that many will find it too big and therefore not be happy with Google's choice.

The N6 is too big for me as well. I've had the N5 for nearly a year - in previous years my phone would have started to feel sluggish by this point, but the N5 is still going nicely, so I'm not as disappointed about not getting the N6 as I might have been.

Going to give the Moto X a try, but think I will end up sticking with the Nexus 5 until next years flagships come out. Most interesting thing for me is Arm v8 so I will wait for the S810 flagships before moving.

I can't find any two places online that have the same info on the Lollipop release date!? Is it today or if not does anyone know when it is?
