12pm Central I believe? So 5pm approx UK time? I can't wait to get my hands on it I need to do some backups first though.

Questions.. Will custom recovery work with L release today?

Indicates that the system images released today could be the final versions. I guess it depends on whether it shows up under the normal Factory Images section or a Preview section. OTA is due to start in a few weeks running for the month but thats usually been the same with every release, its always taken weeks & weeks for all the OTA's to be fulfilled.

Wait a day or 2 for XDA to root it. Custom recovery is not the issue but you will lose your root.

Sat patiently waiting. I am wondering if theyll just refresh the 5 and 7 existing dev previews or release a dev preview for EVERY device (if so im doing my N7 2012 with it tonight also)

Final developers preview before release in 17 days time of the final images (although all may not be available at the same time apparently) i.e 5, 6 and 9 would be first.. Then 7 2013, Then 7 2012, then 10 then 4? I don't know an order just going off xda here as thats the rumours

Not what I read.

"Sources familiar with Google’s plans told Android Police that only Wi-Fi devices will get Lollipop at first — the Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10 — with cellular versions, including Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and LTE Nexus 7 supposed to receive the update at a later date."

Just installed the Hammerhead image version LPX13D, phone is just loading today's backup and apps. 2 stage verification worked well, as the install program read the text message from Google for me.
