*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

Looks like Lollipop broke my phone. I can't install anything that has permissions that need approving! Clicking on Next or Install does nothing.

Fixed! Its Lux. Yeah I know, how random. Some security feature in Lollipop that if you have any apps active that can overlay things on screen it disables some buttons to stop you being tricked into installing apps by hiding the install button under something else.

Yep. There's something else called Twilight or something that has the same issue.

New issue for me, is there any way to define what notifications are considered sensitive or not? Apparently my Spotify lock screen music control are sensitive . To get them to show I have to turn on full notifications, which means text messages and hangouts messages and emails are then fully visible on the lock screen.

It also looks like lock screen Widgets are gone too :(

? Just turn the volume down to vibrate

Do you understand the meaning of silent?

Silent mode was good because, no sound, no vibration, just the notification LED that caught my eye when something came through. Since lollipop, i dont think I've even seen the notifcation LED come on? They seem to of rendered it useless.

Sounds like you have either an app messing with things, or some strange notification settings if your not getting notification lights, or vibrations from emails?

Not too pleased to lose the silent mode. I have had a Pebble for over a year and not had the ringer or vibrate on my phone on. Every now and then I would nudge the volume up by accident and activate vibrate mode but I just turned it back off by pressing volume down.

I only downloaded this yesterday, and have not read many in depth reviews. Is this a feature or a early adopter bug? Can I make it function as before by somehow configuring the priority mode?

Also, on my lock screen I have to swipe up to see the unlock keypad. Previously the lock screen had the keypad on the screen as you turned it on so you could just start typing your PIN. Is there a way to revert this behaviour? I guess they have done this for lock screen notifications, but I have disabled those.
