12% battery now. Its not going to last my commute home :(

How easy is it to go back to KitKat?

stock? or rooted etc? if it's rooted with custom recovery then just get the rom you want and install.. that's it :) that's what I've done after playing around with LP..

I'll give it time to "Grow up" and google to iron out the crap but yes, it is buggy imo.

It's undercooked, in my opinion.

* Can switch into guest mode from lock screen without entering passcode, permitting calls and texts by default. So somebody who nicks your phone can call as many premium rate numbers as they like, even if you have phone and SIM lock.

Also whilst in Guest account your Cerberus is not working. Fix coming though.

Stock, but I'd rather not have to flash it clean.

The guest account had phone calls disabled by default on my phone, and I wasn't even able to switch to it from the lock screen before I'd switched to it while I was logged in.

Then be prepared for calls to go on the phone if its stolen...

The inky thing they could do is allow the guest account to be customisable, I.e. 'make calls', 'allow texts' etc

Reflashed the phone last night. Am yet to enable the guest account and can't do so from lock screen without passcode. So yes, it looks like you can only switch without passcode where the guest account is already enabled.

Finding lollipop very frustrating so far. I'm finding lots of bugs switching between Google maps and other apps.

My two biggest gripes as of yet:
1) OK Google detection is worthless. I have to practically yell at the phone or hold it right up to my mouth to detect anything.
2) NFC tags as "trusted devices" do not work. Anyone had any luck with this?

My phone was at 50% at lunch, so I plugged it in. It was therefore 100% when I left work, and now, 4 hours later, it's on 43%!

This is stupid!

Ok do you guys think this is a lollipop problem or is my phone busted? I've been using lollipop through ota for a week now, but today my phone is constantly freezing and restarting itself.

The first time it happened, the screen shut itself off and then the phone vibrated hard for 5 secs straight before stopping. Then I powered it on again and it would freeze during bootup during the dots animation. Would reboot itself and try to load again and then would freeze at boot up again.

However, sometimes it will load into the desktop and I can use my phone, but not for long. While I'm using the phone it would freeze and reboot itself again after 5 mins - 30 mins of use. Except during one stretch where it went hours without freezing, but right now it's back to freezing quite frequently now.

Does this sound like an RMA issue or you think lollipop is to blame? I'm going to do a full factory wipe soon. Also, I have a launch phone so my phone is about 1 year and 3 weeks old. Would I still be able to RMA to google since it's past a year? That's another concern I have cause if I can't fix it, nor RMA it, then I'm screwed I guess.

Maybe the ota is what causing the problems, I installed it myself soon as it was posted on Google site and haven't encounter any problems with Lollipop, no slowdown, no lag, NFC works as it should, WiFi works fine on any channel & no battery drain.

It probably best for those that did the ota to wipe their phones & clear the cache ect and start again.

If your phone was working fine with 4.4.4 then it sounds like Lollipop screwed up when updating.

Best bet is to download the factory image from google, and flash it yourself using something like wugfresh nexus root toolkit which is probably the easiest way to flash your nexus and see if the problem cleared.

My phone just finished doing a factory wipe and once it was done and I got to the part to enter all my info, lollipop was already installed, so I'm just going to try to do it this way for now and see how it goes.

Neither my factory flashed Lollipop or Sideload Lollipop have been slow or caused battery drain issues on my N5, so maybe it's just OTA? It has been recommended a fair few times on here that if you've taken OTA and facing issues, you should do a factory reset on it which will essentially give you a fresh Lollipop to try and see if it's better. If not, flash back to 4.4.4 - it takes 5 mins literally

Yeah the number of apps Lollipop broke that I had to manually remove and reinstall worried me too. Ill factory reset it.
