Not that much difference in size considering the larger screen on the G2. Here's a pic I just took, not much difference as N5 has larger Bezels.

Received my black 32GB one from the solent depot at about 3pm.
Impressed generally so far but the camera appears a bit slow to focus and take the picture and the speaker is a touch on the quiet side.
 
Using mine now,, liking it. Good to be back on pure google instead of touch wiz

Do agree though the bottom bezel is on the large size, would have been nice if they could have squeezed a little screen on it , hey ho!
 
Wireless charging works much better than the N4, using my old Nokia charging plate N5 is far more forgiving on how you place the device (N4 had to be in the exact spot with this charger) and charging speed is great as well !
 
Build quality? The n5 does not feel cheap, you can tell its not unibody but I dont feel that detracts from it.

The only annoying thing is the buttons have prominent edges and the sim door took 2 attempts to sit flush.

I had 2 Htc One as the first was replaced due to build quality issues with the speakers caps and uneven screen edge. My 2nd one had the same but lesser issue, plus the beats logo rubbing off.
 
Wow thanks Sonic, they really are pretty much the same size but the LG has 0.2" larger screen size (4.7" is my preferred size).
If only the MotoX had SD card :(

Why is every single phone out there, just short of something to make it perfect?

Mines out of Rotherham depot and been on van since 5:50AM, mate of mine had his delivered from Leeds depot before 9AM this morning and there are 2 other guys at my work that ordered who's were also from Rotherham depot.

One guy got his delivered to work earlier by the same driver who he flagged down outside work this morning but he was delivering a package further down the road then came back 3 hours later to our place with my colleagues package. Doesn't seem like they have much of a sensible process going on if they delivery a package 5 doors away then come back 3 hour later to drop another off.

My other colleague is in the same boat with no delivery as of yet.

That's the main reason my G2 will be sold, 16 gb isn't enough for me 32gb on N5 should be more than adequate for me at least.

The multi-billion £$ question.

You'd think that one of the manufacturers would step up. It really wouldn't take a lot of extra effort you'd think. Especially for someone like HTC who were sooo close with the One. ;)
 
Motorola, the Google owned company, has today issued an invite/Save the Date for 13 November for the Moto G. As others have pointed out, the Moto X, a great phone, was sold only Stateside (to help Moto regain US market share), it will be interesting if this new Moto G is going global.

The thinking is yes. The invite has an image of the globe so expect this low cost phone to be offered here soon. Will make an interesting comparison to the Nexus 5 as Moto is making its phone more Android experience like and less bloatware.

leaked specs are nowhere near nexus 5.. not even nexus 4 :o

perhaps.. if anyone cares about moto after X.
