Nexus 9

Returned mine today, will happily buy another one if they fix the battery life while browsing issue.

Still didnt improve then with the updates?

Like I said, mines already gone back, and like you, I will purchase it again once all problems are fixed (if they can be)

it def improved the sluggishness etc, but i tested it more over the weekend and the browsing was still very poor.

I was tempted to try another kernel but that would have took me longer and past my chance to send it back under distance selling, not worth the gamble I reluctantly concluded.

I do think it will be improved though,in all likelihood the worst case is we wait a couple of months and buy one cheaper.

What are you on about , you must have done something to mess with it or need the money.

eh?, I think everything I've mentioned has validity. This tablet (the one I had) would not give adequate battery life when browsing, fact.

It is my feeling it will improve when software is optimised, but I wasnt prepared to gamble on that.

Reading reports that HTC have made some adjustments to the manufacturing of the N9. Buttons are now easier to press, the back doesn't bow so much and the black light bleed has been resolved.

Saw that, just wonder though if its just variance in quality/build as its a sample size of one really.
I`m hoping they can optimise the browsing battery life with this tablet, if they do I`d buy one in a heartbeat.

Seems like waiting till next year for a N9 is sensible. Wanted one of these before I go to Oz for Christmas, but I think I'll be better off waiting.

The 9 feels a bit too weighty for it's size. I guess you notice it a lot more after being used to a lighter smaller tablet.

Nexus 9 is seriously doing my head in.

Tablet keeps freezing with a blank black screen only way to sort this is to restart the tablet and apps keep crashing, have done several factory reset and cleared the cache etc and still have the problem.

Is there a way of fixing this? ... everything is up to date including apps.

thanks.

Was hoping to pick one of these up whilst in the US, as they seemed to be down to $350, but back up to $400 now. :(
Really sounds like a struggle to justify full retail on the Nexus 9 right now.

Hoping for a decent price slash at some point!

Those who still have theirs, how are they finding it?
Issues above would have me sending it back, after flashing stock ROM from Google site... :(
