Does anybody elses photos when shooting outside in decent brightness get realy washed out colours?

I took a picture of a car and i compared it to my mates iphone 2g and the colours of my photos are seriously shocking. its been like this since day 1

The colours are Bad

For example

What im a doing wrong? surely the colours should be better than this?

set to auto so i dont think it went off

no offence mate, but since your born in 1863 i would say you have little hair left... so maybe reflection of sunlight blinding the camera?

well actually not all turn out like that but a lot seem to. MCR stock camera app but it was like this since stock.

What other camera apps can i use with MCR?

Try the Desire camera app maybe? I think you can flash that onto any 2.1 ROM, Desire based or not

I've just bought a Nexus one and I cannot believe how much faster it is than my HTC Hero. God its a lovely phone! Will be installing all my apparently tonight. :cool:

Meant to write apps but it must have auto filled that word instead for me. I really cannot get over how much faster it is!
I can't seem to get it to sync my apps on Appbrain. Is there anything special I should be doing?

if you hold the phone in your left hand and press sync with your right it seems to work fine.

Try it and post back!

First and most important question: Are you rooted or are you running completely stock?

Second, would you like to be rooted or to keep it stock?

Phone is stock. Wouldn't mind rooting it so long as no warranty is affected.

Ok, I think I see what has happened. I had synced my Hero with AppBrain and it had a list of everything installed on the phone. When I synced the Nexus One it just refreshed Appbrain and now only shows about 5 apps. I thought I could use AppBrain to push down to me all the other apps I had installed.

I should have saved my other apps in a separate list.

Also, is WaveSecure tied to the IMEI of the phone or the phone number?
