***Nexus One Thread***

my battery has been shocking the past 2 days (not even lasting till 4pm) O>o waiting for leofroyo beta 3 to come out though grr

720p recording on froyo now <3

£58 for fixing the screen? Bargain.

Also, do they ship you a new one in the mean time like i read they do in the US?

(I read that they pre bill your card in the US for the total cost of a new one until they get your borked one though, which is fair enough)

Gutted for you though dude, I always thought the N1 did not have a glass screen like the iPhone

Time to get a decent case....

Afraid not

GRRR got my bill from HTC its £105!

apparently the antenna has taken some impact damage as well as the cracked screen

With labour vat and shipping is £105, A very expensive mistake to make. Dont drop your phones kids!

I should get one of these SUPER LCD things and that should be better for outdoors so its not all bad. I had a look on the bay and even cheapo chinease LCD screens for the nexus ones are £60 so i guess its not too bad

Guys: Point your browsers to HTC's European online accessory store

See that? That's the official Google home dock, official battery and official car dock available for purchase in the UK. Not cheap, but cheaper than the bay :D

This seems to have come about because the Nexus has been appointed Dev Phone 3 by Google

All in all, not bad for a phone that a few people above suggested was dead :p

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeez checking out the prices of these used on the Bay, £400! That's more than I actually paid for mine in the first place! :D :D

Just a shame there's nothing worth upgrading to.

OH MY GOD.

i've just learnt a few roms have a wifi proxy setting in them (added in) and will be added into leofroyo (a rom i stick by) which is amazing news! The only gripe i've yet to find with android, which is now covered! Making this phone/os absolute perfection.

T'is good news indeed, im waiting for a full leofroyo release to root my baby. She only deserves the best

i seriously have no gripes about it now, only the lack of games but that will come. And theres always a ps1 emu xD (i might get the gameboy one for pokemon..)

so happy i got an n1 now :)

Finally got my N1 today! last one in stock at my local Vodafone store. Not fully functional however, going through the PAC code transfer process atm (which doesnt happen over the weekend apprently).

However I asked the assistant to swap my numbers from my old sim to my new vodafone sim, she did it but the number dont appear on my N1, is that because of the PAC code transfer limbo state im currently in on my N1 (so by wed my N1 will be fully functional?)?

im probably not the best for advice, ive only a handfull of contacts. but you should be able to transfer somehow, *has a play*.

best to keep them stored through google though, saves a lot of time in the long run :)

phone > contacts > menu key > import export > import from sim :) ?
