The Android soft case it comes with has done me fine for 6 months

Is there anyway to get an App that was installed on my Hero onto the N1? I use Shapewriter and for some reason its been pulled from the App store.

Try Swype instead? The link to the beta is on XDA somewhere. Its basically the same thing

Careful Random_23 with that link. I have EPF21B rom which is Vodaphone UK N1. And those roms listed wont work.

Just to clarify it hasn't been discontinued. Google will just no longer sell it on their website. Which they said a while back.

And Nexus One will continue to be sold by partners including Vodafone in Europe, KT in Korea, and possibly others based on local market conditions.
So what are you getting at?

EDIT 2: So on reading other articles apparently something that is still in production outside the US is classed as discontinued. The device has been discontinued in the US. Vodafone will still sell them in the UK though.

My bad, must have mis read it earlier I thought it was a bit odd to say all of the above before hand, then come out with "NO MORE!!" the other day. Must learn to read properly and not skim over! Back to normality in google land then!

I'm still chuffed with my Nexus One and would still choose it over any other phone right now. It'll get Gingerbread later in the year and if it's true that Google are slowing down their release cycles with android the phone'll be up-to-date for a good while yet.
I wonder if the Nexus One will get Gingerbread before the Desires & Galaxy Ss of our world get an official FroYo update?
