NHL 15

Anyone playing Ultimate Team?

I really really hope they fix the injuries. I don't mind players getting injured, but at the moment the only way to heal them is with cards which are being sold for 1.5-2k coins on the market. If you take them out of your team and play games, they do not get better, they just stay injured. I have 12 players currently injured that I can no longer use.

Seems as fast and fun as it ever was and 1080p and 60 fps really makes goal mouth scrambles easier. Don't know about the game mode shortage but from a pure playability viewpoint I rate it highly.

Psn listed the game as 720, was it confirmed in the end to be 1080 , game got bad reviews so didn't buy in the next end. Shame as I did sorta enjoy the demo... But as they say reviews are opinions but review's stated it was a shell of game comparable to nhl 14

I'm not so worried about a lack of game modes, single matches and any season mode would be fine for me, though in this era of games more depth is expected, but the fact that the game play is so good in the EA NHL tradition is the main plus for me.
 
Came back from my holiday the other day to this and really enjoying it. Question for those that play UT - is there a fitness type system in this like FIFA? If so, how do you recover fitness without using cards?
 
I've just managed to get another refund from MS, the content patch that was just released was a joke. They promised improvements to HUT menus and navigation, but what they added was minimal and they may as well not have bothered. They added other features into other game modes too, like the coaches feedback in Be A Pro, but it's EXACTLY the same as NHL 14. Other things have introduced more bugs as well, it's just a joke.

Seeing as I'd bought the digital Ultimate Edition at £58.49, I felt MASSIVELY ripped off. So I got a refund, and will only buy it again if I can get a physical copy for under £25, which I can then trade in when this innevitably comes to the EA Access Vault.

I did enjoy the gameplay, but it's not worth nearly £60 of my money. I may even pick up Madden instead, the 6 hours I played of that in the trial was amazing.

EDIT: I got my refund, but the game is still playable. Bonus!

I got this coming tomorrow morning via Boomerang. Doubt I'll be on much over the weekend with Destiny and all but might try to get some games in here and there.

I'm not very good at sports games though so probably not much point some people from here playing me!

Why don't you just buy from the US store and save like £25 anyway?
 
Did anyone notice how they had a seperate line item in the change list for changing the colour of the polo shirt worn by the Avalance trainer (I'm assuming a character that stands in the bench area).

Talk about trying to pad the list out to make it look like you're done more.
 
I'm only on PS3 but as much of a hockey nut I am will unlikely be going for 15.

Will stick with 14 for now, seeing as I spent the year pretty much just on HUT I'll catch up with some of the other modes ;)
 
im loving it so far. however, i havent played an NHL game since they introduced stick controls.

why is there no season mode?
are they looking to add it?
 
yeah, im enjoying playoff mode as that was added when i got the game. im not interested in HUT but would like a season mode at least.
 
no idea, not tried it yet.

as mentioned in this thread, the UI is crap and doesnt really explain what each feature does. at all.
