Nice pongs and gorgeous whiffs. The Aftershave thread!

Ordered CDNI off amazon last week and arrived for the weekend. Bottle looks ace and wearing it today its still smelling fresh! Very impressed with it.
 
Girlfriend got a bunch of testers when she went to Debenhams and in the bag was a tester of Davidoff - The Game and thought I'd give it a go this morning.

The opening was very surprising! Definitely got the fizzy gin and juniper notes and the dry down its turning into a lovely fragrant wood/vetiver smell. Really liking this so far. There was also a tester of the Intense formulation so will see what that is like too.

Seeing all the comments on here about CDNI I'm taking the plunge!

Where is the best place to get CDNI from for quality/price? Also what does it stand for again?
 
Its a good one is CDNI, I am not a fan of the initial blast - too strong for me, but sitting here at 12:07 around 6 hours later, it smells lush!

Smells like a Lemon Pledge for a few minutes but that soon goes and when it opens up in the dry down circa 30 mins > 1 hour it really starts to come into its own. 3 to 4 hours in the base notes beam through and it literally melts anyone who's in range of its projection. It's sillage is also awesome - people can literally smell the trail of me walking around with it on.

Easily my favourite next to Sauvage EDP (as mentioned before).

Tom's Creed Decants for genuine Creed at an affordable price.

CDNI is still my top juice in price vs performance.

Armaf Club de Nuit is absolute overhyped crap imo. Yes it smells almost like Creed Aventus I will give it that but it literally doesn’t even last 1 hour before completely disappearing. I’ve not had one comment on it in the 2 months I’ve been wearing it even though I put 3 sprays on my neck. When I had the real Aventus I would put 2 sprays on and would get comments almost on a daily basis from people saying how amazing it is because it’s that strong.
The only option with the Armaf would be to take the bottle to work and keep spraying more on every few hours when it completely disappears.
Considering it’s nearly £30 now because it’s getting popular I would spend that kind of money on Christian Dior sauvage instead as that’s probably the 2nd best aftershave I’ve owned after Aventus in regards to smell and positive comments

I can only think you had a dodgy bottle/batch of CDNI. I can spray on the collar of a shirt on Monday, wear it to work all day, chuck it in the washing basket, pull it out Saturday to wash and the shirt still actively smells of it.

Incidentally, I am wearing CDNI today and I sprayed at 07:40 this morning. Presently, the juice is booming out the top notes with a slight spicy oriental mix and a hint of amber. The base of Vanilla/Amber normally comes at the 5hrs mark and lasts for another good 3 or 4 hours and I can easily smell it without bringing up my wrist. Obviously, this bottle performs very well on my skin as on my skin, the smell is still very much there in the evening too albeit a bit more toned down.

N.B - Sauvage is my side by side favourite too.

I’m starting to think it must be a dodgy batch or something especially considering most others find it lasts very well. I have noticed as you say it does seem to stay on clothes for a few days but on my skin it doesn’t seem to last more than an hour or two. It’s only that one for some reason because I can spray anything else on and smell it all day.
Might give that Toms Creed decants a go if they are trustworthy
