I have a small decant of Tuscan Leather which is very similar. Much too strong for me to wear as a daily.
My Victor No9 turned up today. Weird spray design but decent for a cheapie. Will see how it compares with CDNI.
Interested to hear your thoughts on Victor No9, I've been really impressed with CDNI, in particular the dry down is sublime, so interested to see how it compares.

I’ve been using No9 for a few days and it smells good, not great projection, probably around 4 hours from 1 spray either side of the neck, although the bottle guarantees 6.

No worries. It’s definitely the better purchase of the three Bleu’s.
I find with victor, I hit the 4 hour mark and can’t smell it anymore. But a few colleagues can still pick it up quite strongly. I think the nose eventually tires of it.
If you already have CDNI then No9 is redundant as they smell too similar. If I had to buy again I'd get CDNI because the aerosol style sprayer on No9 is cack. But as a cheapie, or for secret santa, it's ideal.

Went out with the intention of getting TF Ombre Leather again and ended up with Sauvage EDP. Compared to the EDT and Parfum it was much more balanced imo.

If you like Himalaya, try Erolfa, one of their most underrated fragrances.

Yep Sauvage EDP is really nice, the best of the 3 imo.
I went into that Penhaligon's place yesterday for a mooch about - Never heard of it before. Had a go on a few of them (they had a huge circle of about 40 different ones), and liked the popular one they actively pump in to the street called 'Halfeti'.

So, curiosity got the better of me and I've got a sample of Office for Men. For all the hate, its actually not bad, I would wear it casually. Yes, it's generic, non offensive, safe, crowd pleasing etc.
It's a bit of everything, but mostly Sauvage, and it has a little sprinkle of the top of Aventus.
The retail price is lol worthy though, it isn't worth even close to the RRP, BOGOF or not. Its a £40 fragrance at most. If the price was more realistic I'd say it was worth a buy, but as it is you're better off grabbing a bottle of PV X-Batch.

The PA at work yesterday said she absolutely had to know what the fragrance was in the afternoon as she caught whiff of it in the morning but was in a rush. Said she was gonna get it for her son as an Xmas gift and couldn't believe it was £12 (Victor no 9).

Yeah as I said, it is what it is. Nothing amazing, just a pleasant smell. How he can try and justify the price though, just lol. He runs a buy one get one free every other week, you would be mad to buy it any other time if you really had to have it. Even the BOGOF works out at about £68 a bottle. Not worth it, not worth it at all.

I’m almost empty on my current bottle so should order another!I’ve actually read yesterday that armaf have released a new clone (club de nuit milestone) which is a clone of creeds Millésime Impérial. I’ve looked around and it can be had for £25 ish. Might grab one !
£68 a bottle even on a bogof offer isn’t that great... you’d have to really like the scent to wanna use two bottles of the stuff. Isn’t it like 100ml a bottle too ? That’d take ages to get through.

Sort of the same (wore Rasasi La Yuqawam for the first time in a year for an evening out, which is near identical to TL but with better performance) - now it's cold it's time to bust out the heavy hitters! Having been around more wrong'uns this year I can confirm there's a very coke-like note (not the drink...) for once it wasn't polarising and everyone kept getting whiffs of something they thought was delicious.
Also I'll be keeping my eye on that MI clone, although I can't say I'm truly obsessed with having full presentations/bottles, and would rather have 10 10ml decants of different stuff than a single 100ml of one frag, although it's always good to have some dumb-reach cheapies for work etc.
