Victor no9 is rather good. Like the bottle itself, didn't realise it was pressurised lol. It's not as immediately obvious as Twice or Yardley, but certainly has a unique summery smell to it. i like. All 3 have their uses, all 3 perfect for work/daily use :cool:

I tried a sample of 1 Million Lucky a few days after it was released and to me it made me smell like a candy shop. Mrs Shawrey hated it so I promptly washed it off.

Might have to try it again and just see if it was a bad sample.

Ok so I prefer the Yardley over the Victor no9 for sure. Victor just doesn't last long enough through the day whereas Yardley remains warm/vintage throughout.

So for me, my everyday fragrances are Iceberg Twice for citrus-type fragrance, Yardley for a vintage warmth.

Job jobbed TBH.On my skin both of those last the whole day.

I could never just stick to two frags. I like the variety.

although.. I’ve got quite a lot now. So I’m pretty happy with the current rotation. Almost used a quarter of my bottle of baccarat rouge already :eek:

might pick up the edp next month.

I purchased this back when it released in 2014 but sold it as it was too strong. I could only do 1 spray to the chest, once did 3 and it gave me a banging headache.

With all this discontinue talk and it being weaker due to reformulation I decided to give it another try. So got my bottle last week from John Lewis. It is indeed weaker, not as heavy and dark as the original. I can now do 3 sprays and get a nice light aroma for a good 7 plus hours.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but I picked up a 250ml bottle from Zara called Seoul. It's really nice for £9. Doesn't smell cheap, lasts a fair while and even if you don't like it as a going out stink, it's good for knocking about when you don't want to smell like skin.

Not sure what was wrong last time but today it's stayed put and people at work really like it too to the point one person looked it up and couldn't believe it was £13.

Really? Bought this after reading about it a while back albeit the older shape design (from Amazon). Seems to wear off rapidly, bad batch?

I dunno. Seems to last about 5-6 hours for me. It’s so cheap I usually put it in my bag for work, and top up at the 4hr mark.

edit. You may have gone a little nose blind to it. Even though you can’t smell it, others will still be able to.
