Nightclub firm Luminar in administration

I found that things changed massively once I had a place of my own, as I would much rather be at home with a few mates having a few drinks than going out and getting shafted for drinks.

If it does close then there is either McKluskies or The Hippodrome in Kingston, and they're not exactly upper class :p. Failing that, the Lloyds bar opposite Oceana will be packed along with O'Neills.

Interesting times (well not really but you get what I mean)

The number of kids (yes kids) in their first year at uni who have conversations that only consist of:

'you going out tonight'
'not really feeling it but i'll go anyway'

I've never got my head around it..........

you forgot 'ugh i feel like total crap and cant remember anything but spent 50 quid'
the next day

Meh, I really like the music they play in Oceana in Wolverhampton but they're usually full of steroid abusing chavs who wear tight t shirts and walk around with their chest out!

A bit of a shame as Oceana and Blast Off are the two major clubs in Wolverhampton. The clubs which play hip hop/r n b/drum n bass are mostly in Birmingham!

But Oceana do charge an insane amount for drinks, we usually drink at someones house or at a decent pub before we go out to clubs anyway.

Although in the last few months we've been going to clubs less and less and mostly prefer to go to a good pub that serves decent ales and chill out there instead!

Oh god, now where are all the chavs gonna go in Nottingham? And won't someone think of poor Oceana Roger?!

Grim place.

Where is anyone going to go in Nottingham tbh? I know both Oceana and Halo are a bit gritty, but with Halo already gone, Gatecrasher would be the only big club left if Oceana folds as well. As much as they all have there bad points, it was good having all three as at least you had choice. If we end up left with just Gatecrasher it will just get even more expensive and crammed.

Should be good for dogma if they keep up their free entry policy though!
