Nikon D750 announced.

Was so hoping this was going to have the OLPF removed...... And save me going to a 810 one day.
The 20mm F1.8 could be a no brainer for landscapes... And sensible money... :)
 
It looks amazing for me, I don't see how I could do live music shooting with a D6x0 due to the AF points being crowded round the middle. It did seem a bit mad that the only tenable step up from a D7000 was the D8x0 at over 3 times the price.

EDIT: Although part of the problem is it seems the D300 line has been binned. I do still love the handling of my old D200, if I want to take a camera out with me on a sunny day then it'll be the D200.

The D7100 is better than D300 in every way except absolutely speed and buffer depth. For most needs the D7100 is just a way better camera. The mythical D400 has been endlessly delayed (floods in Thailand amongst others), so has the Canon 7dmk2 so there is some hope nikon will release the D400 (likely D9000) in response, maybe in January.
 
Hmm...just noticed this.

I like the screen capabilities (im currently on a D5100) .
Still, not sure if I want/need FF.

Wow, only 17 posts in a camera release as good as this? :eek:

This camera seems like it really could last a good few years before feeling the need to upgrade, unless 4k video is important of course.

Where I live the D850 (body only) is £1390 in the local stores, which makes it very tempting to upgrade my D7000, especially as I can get it on very low interest credit.

Hmm, decisions decisions... :)
 
The price at everyone's favourite UK based importer using BACS is insane. If I could be bothered to sell all my Canon gear I'd get this in a heartbeat, but I just cba :D
