** NIKS END OF YEAR OPEN BOX/B-GRADE BONANZA!!!! **

fixed the issue with destiny, head into NVIDIA control panel and under "adjust video colour settings" select "with the NVIDIA settings and drop the saturation bar down, its this setting that bleaches out the screen, no doubt it should work with other games have have issues too :) try it and see

That's a strange one, wouldn't think the video colour setting would alter anything other than like video files or something, I mainly game on my Acer X34P now so no HDR but if I do get another HDR screen I'll definitely give it a go!

tbf it's not perfect, but overall its a hell of a lot better and once in game the colours really do look the business, had a lot of changing the nvidia settings around 30mins of gradual backing off the brightness, contract, saturation and finally hue whilst checking the game via alt tab back and forth. Bit of a faff but the results aren't too bad :)

Might give that a go then (well, the equivalent AMD settings), I tried a couple of other HDR games last night to compare - Borderlands 3 looks great, Far Cry 5 looks pretty good in scRGB HDR, but HDR 10 looks awful, just like the Division 2

Got my motherboard and gfx from B grade.

Gfx was likely just an open box return.

Motherboard however was just a board in a box, no io shield, no m2 standoff, no manual.

All in all, worth the savings :)

i bought a gigabyte B450 b grade motherboard, anyone got any idea if the primary M.2 standoff is moveable its in the wrong location, ive tried with some small pliers but wont budge, dont want to force it. its not a hex key so dont know what ool to use

I got a motherboard and cooler from the BGrade recently.

Cooler looked like a damaged box - no other issues, made a good saving

Motherboard, luckily has a built in IO so that was no worries, also had the WiFi antenna - However one of the USB front panel pins was bent 90 degrees, very odd how that would have happened... Bent it back no issue, but could have easily snapped off. However I was very happy with how much I saved.

I will be looking at B-Grade stuff in the future before looking at new first
