Ninja Gaiden Sigma PS3

That would be typical of UK censors.

I seem to remember when The Matrix DVD came out, I'd ordered the R1 version as it came out sooner, and learned afterwards that the UK one had all the headbutts cut out!

Would be interesting to know if the UK version really does have decapitations cut though, I wasn't aware they applied cuts like that to games too.

If that's the case, I may order an import when the time comes after all.

V1N.

There was a PS3 game out which was censored in japan or somewhere cant remember now. It was found that if you used a save game from say the US version (no censoring) if you used that save game instead it would think it was a US version of the game and unlock whats been censored. I think it makes sense lol :D Not sure if NGS will do the same. When i get mine on friday im going to use my US login straight away and see if makes any difference then copy saves to my UK account see if it will work like that.

Anyone elses arrive from Canada today?, I'm just on chapter two, finding it pretty difficult, never played a Ninja Gaiden before other than the demo on PSN.

If anyone is finding it too hard you can unlock the Easy mode aka Ninja Dog mode by dying 3 times in a row then it will give you the option to either select Ninja Dog mode or carry on with normal. First time I went through this game this is what I did and when I went through for a second time (this time on normal all the way through) it was 10x easier believe it or not :p All easy mode really is the same as normal, but they hold your hand a lot more by the means of tips, exclusive health drops to Ninja Dog mode in the form of rice balls and arm bands that have the same effect as the armlets you get later in the game.

Once you know what moves+weapons to use against bosses its really easy unless your playing hard, very hard or master ninja mode. God after those I was left a dribbling vegetable :p This is all for Ninja Gaiden Black on the Xbox btw. Sigma is meant to be a bit easier due to small optimisations and improvements in the control system appearently cant speak from first hand experience.

Mine has just arrived today. I will try it out later on. Having never played this before I don't know how to do this decap stuff (is it like a finishing move?).

I played the Japanese demo and didn't notice them either though.

Theres a move where you fly through the air with your sword out, it was a guaranteed Decap move on the Xbox version.

If you use the big heavy sword and just used the attack button it will cleave the heads off, well it did on the demo version! Also has anyone who's played the demo found out how you can use the yellow orbs in the full game yet? It was said a while back that by playing the demo and collecting orbs you could unlock stuff from the full game.

Hold the triangle for a bit, you charge up when you release (if you held it long enough) you lunge forward and do a decap swipe.

Happens on PS3 version like the Xbox version. :) (I played US demo)

If its like the xbox version you just lop peoples+monsters heads off through certain moves, nothing special but it shouldnt be censored out either. Its not like most other hack and slash games where you just button mash (i.e God of War and Devil May Cry) you play it like that and you will get fed up with it very quickly. Its more about timing your attacks and linking up combo's for maximum damage. Roll, Jump + block will be your best friends in this game :) The AI enemies are smart + strong as well instead of just relying on huge numbers of them, which is why I rate this game above both DMC+GoW

Collect them to upgrade weapons + buy potions

Use in-game to power up your ultimate techniques more quickly by holding in Triangle as Jihad aslready said.

Yep that's how there done.

A bit of info gathering and from what I've heard the US version is the only version you can decap ninjas (humans), the Jap version it only applies to the monsters, and the UK version I'm not sure now??

I would have thought ours will be the same as the Jap version because one of Rachel's moves without decap will suck :(

Their talking 20 hours to complete this game which I was quite surprised, I thought we'd be looking at 12 hours max :)

Not happy, mines didn't some today! can't believe it, bloody recorded delivery, yet still not here on the following day!!!

Nothing worse. I was expecting The Darkness, it still hasn't come from SwapGame. I think mines been lost in the post :(.

It's royal mail and the rental companies still recovering from the strike on Friday. I popped potc in the post box (back to Lovefilm) on Friday 1st class and they didn't receive it until Tuesday. It's then taken them two days to ship Call of Juarez out to me (which they're doing as we speak).

I've just recieved a mail message back and apparently some bases had another strike on Monday which has really affected them. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow they will treat it as lost.

I can't get any further in the full game then I can in the demo!! The guy with the Nunchucks beats me down every time.

Run up the wall, jump off and slash down on him (triangle I think) rinse and repeat. Just make sure to roll/jump out of the way once the move has finished because he sometimes blocks and grabs you.

I found her pretty easy compared to her final form later in the game now that is a nightmare.

Nice one, beat him 1st time using that technique! Now I am annoyed I used up all the elixirs etc on level 1, I may start again. Also I noticed you can go back and fight enemies again, Whcih Obviously means you can get more of those Yellow Orbs. Is it worth it or will you get enough later on?
