Ninja upgrades!

Not fair! I paid £70 quid for goodrige lines on my pushbike!!!

VERY nice bike you have there. I think i would die if i took a shot.

Yes, but your bike probably cost thousands, so £70 is worth it.

Thanks, I do love it to bits, looking forward to a long day or riding tomorrow too :)

Scort.

I'm always up for a ride out, so long as the weather is decent enough to enjoy it :)

Maybe we should plan one for later in the year?

Fitted EBC HH pads front and back today, just about to take the bike for a spin to start the bedding in process.

Scort.

Hope you had a fun ride out, I went out earlier for a couple of hours just riding about, was a great day for it, loads of bikes out! is better with a few of you as its nice to stop ever for a coffee or cold drink ever so often.

Was tempted by a shiny new Ninja while out bike shopping earlier but I just can't get insurance on new bikes at the moment :(

Yeh i guess so. I really fancy getting a sports bike later in life. I ride like a **** on my pushbike at the moment and it's ALWAYS fast fast fast and braking late with the back wheel in the air stuff.

Much are you talking to get a bike such as yours and the general servicing every year? I assume the tyres can be quite expensive due to being very sticky?

I had an excellent ride out thanks, couldn't persuade a mate to come, but even so, it was fun nonetheless and the birthday bash at George Whites was cool :)

Anyone know where I can get some Pads for the ZX10R 06/07 please front pads?

Not sure, but this bunch are very helpful linky. I'm a member and should be going on more of the ride outs later this year.

Second hand is the way forward then ;)

Lol sounds like you'd have fun on a motorcycle :D

I paid £4995 for my bike in August last year, it's 06 reg with one former keeper, had about 3200 miles on it and other than the odd scuff here and there (that I've put on it), it's pretty mint.

I had a service carried out at 4500 miles iirc, that was about £140, the next is due at 7500, I expect it will be around the £200+ mark.

The rear tyre was replaced before I got the bike, and after the 3500+ miles I have put on her, it's still got bags of tread left, so I can't see that needing to be replaced any time soon, maybe another 3000+ miles left in it?

I run both a bike and car and don't find it hard having both on the road, I certainly get more enjoyment from the bike, but it's nice to have the luxury and convenience of a car now and again.

Indeed! I was toying around with a 'Busa today. I don't mind the £9k for a new one but I simply can't believe the insurance quote I got. £6,000 Fully Comp! It's just over 1/20th that to insure a £4k, X reg Busa!

Cool. Sounds like it aint THAT expensive and the speed/£ ratio is REALLY high which is always a good thing. I have a full uk license but still dont have a car, maybe once i have a full time job a car will be a priority. Bikes do sound promising though.
