*** Nintendo Switch ***

I have just picked up a Switch as a family Christmas present. I would like to get some games that my son (5) could also play, I am thinking Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey and the 50 in 1 game compendium.

Any other recommendations for ideal first games for a young kid? He has played my mini NES a few times and quite likes Excite bike and the Mario games but does struggle a little with the controls and the controller

Thank you

Mario Maker 2, Snipperclips, Animal Crossing. Nintendo Switch online gives you access to a selection of NES and SNES games.

Actually, I'd also love any recommendations for screen protectors/cases as my daughters going to be receiving one for her birthday. While she's pretty careful, she's also 10 so better safe than sorry!

Literally popped back in here to ask a similar question, thinking about games for our soon to be 5 Year old and wondering if his own switch lite is maybe a bit much but tbh I started gaming at like 4 or 5

I'll check out some if the suggestions ^^

I spent 1.5 hours last night on a SINGLE level in DK:TF. Man this game is hard. Only two levels left to go.

Both my girls are asking for Switches for Xmas, and i think i am going to have to get them one each as they will only fight over one of them.

Do you have to get two copies of games or are you able to share games across two switches, like a family game library?

I know they will both want Animal Crossing as they love that kind of game, but would a single copy of that game work across both the switches? Would they be able to be inside the same gameworld and play together?

Sounds like how I used to play Sonic 2 with my Dad on the Master System

As far as I know, you can't share a game world to any useful degree but you could share a cartridge. Each console would have its own install and associated account/island but you wouldn't be able to have both of them playing at the same time as it would require the cartridge to be able to start. So basically, no, you will have arguments.
