So Prime Now order will arrive between 12:00 and 14:00 (Switch and Carry case)

Zelda via DPD between 11:59 and 12:59

1-2 Switch today via Hermes (£34)

Pro Controller next week 6th/7th via Zavvi (£45)

Still have my £64 Zelda SE sitting with Zavvi, I'll sell this on or something when I get it for RRP no doubt.

When my original Switch order from Amazon turns up eventually (likely not today) I'll use those items as a return for the Prime Now order so my credit card is refunded and my Gift Card balance remains used. All this because I want to 100% ensure I get it Day One!!
 
Any ideas if Argos will be honouring reservations from before they were requiring payment? I've got a Neon one reserved that I won't be able to pick up until tomorrow - the reservation is valid until then, just not sure if they'll actually keep it with demand so high!

They should. Isn't that the whole point of reserving?

Argos have always been good. The computer blocks it being sold unlike other click and collects where people can randomly pick things off the shelves before your online order is picked.

This is all I have ever gotten from Amazon with any thing preordered.how they get away with it I just don't know!

So, I ordered throughAmazon Prime a couple of hours ago and I just got it.

My first impression when the guy handed me this small paper bag was, wtf, where is my Switch? Closed door and quickly looked, it was inside! The box for the Switch is so small! In the moment I forgot that this is essentially a handheld console, so makes sense!

Of to install and play, see you guys, maybe next week? :p;)
 
Quick update before I disappear. I just did the "lick test". Here are my results:

First I licked and tasted nothing, then I started licking it up and down, up and down, round and round. At this point I got the bad taste. Not half as bad as I thought, not a nice taste though obviously.
