*** Nintendo Switch ***

Hi guys, how can you redownload games you've redeemed on your Switch? Since the latest up when I go to the Redownload section on my switch on the eShop it says,

"There is no software or downloadable content that can be downloaded at this time"

Before the update I had Mario Odyssey showing there?

It is good value for money that's for sure. The whole double dipping thing for me lately makes spending more than £25 on a game I already own a hard pill to swallow :( But i get it
Luckily for me this is the first time playing Skyrim. It's definitely a breath of the wind beater.

What's with the wind puns?

It works for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, shows any games not installed.

Did you archive the game?, if so just select the icon on your home screen. You could try going to the store page for the game and re-download from there?

It only shows games that you don't have installed!?, that's silly, why can't it just have a download list of all your purchased content like on xbox, playstation, or even vita! I'm still not confident buying digital with nintendo, even on their website it says "you may be able to download it again", they don't exactly sound sure of themselves, anyway thanks.

Unless Nintendo's pricing structure changes quite a bit (it won't) I'm buying physical for all full price games. The odd indi or cheap sale digital maybe

The "hassle" of changing carts puts me off physical. There's the odd few where I've bought carts where I'll finish a story and move it on (Kirby for example).

As an exception though, I bought Skyrim as digital as I'm not fussed on selling it on as I know I'll get a ton of moneys worth out of it anyway.

I find it funny that some people find it a hassle to change a cartridge :D

Seconds...it takes SECONDS.

It's more about having to get the carts from the case, reach behind the TV to undock the Switch, mess with the horribly cheap cart cover and then lean back around to dock it again. As opposed to just clicking on another game on the menu.

I know it's still not a massive amount of time changing the cart like I've described it but personally it puts me off playing a physical game if I need to go through that whereas I could just switch to a digital game immediately.

Oh I agree it is easier with digital but I would hardly call changing a physical game full on hassle. Maybe its just me :)

As someone who grew up blowing into carts and the slot it's no biggie. I can see the appeal of digital, got quite the Steam library, but PC games haven't been tradable forever regardless of the media.

If Nintendo want £45 for a game like Zelda fair enough, bargain, but platformer that will get played for 10 hours I'd rather buy it for £45 and sell it for £25 (or whatever) when finished with than pay top end price just to see it in a list forevermore

I would go all digital if nintendo had forward compatibility like all the competition does.

As it is I only buy multiplayer and digital only titles digitally.

Has Nintendo even worked out the standard ability (as in not having to jump through hoops with their CS) of tying games to an account and not a console yet? (I know they didn't at launch but haven't kept up on the news).

Assuming not that is the one of the reasons I will stick to physical for any game costing more than a few quid.

On that note I had a blast with the implosion demo. Nothing ground breaking but a nice looking shoot em up which reminds me a lot of the old loaded series.
