Switch has given me more gaming than my XB1 & PS4 combined in the last 6 months. There are a heap of great indie titles worth picking up in addition to the big titles. If you've done all the top-rated ones then maybe dabble in some of the 70-80% titles which can be had cheap second-hand

Not stellar by any means, and no where near the quality of BOTW/Odyssey.

I mean its not the end of the world. I could just get out my 3DS/Vita as I have a crap loads of games I haven't played on those yet for portable needs.

none of those games are particularly earth shattering but sadly are better than the offerings we've had from january to march

For physical releases you have a point. I've only bought Bayonetta so far this is year and I skipped Kirby after a disappointing demo. But the eShop offerings have been fantastic. Long play MP games like Splatoon 2 and MK8 take up most of my free time and then games like shovel knight and celeste take up the time when I'm on the move. I still have a PS4 and an XB1 which I still use and enjoy. Switch has been and is my main place to play though for the past year.

I haven't used my PS4 in a long time and my Xbox is just an Overwatch/Fortnite tool now.

I rarely use them but sometimes I do for their exclusives or things not in the switch which interests me. But lately even those have turned into disappiontments. I played MHW and really enjoyed it though the limited time I have didn't really suit the game so I sold it on.

Exactly the same with me. I couldn't justify putting up to 50 minutes into a hunt only to potentially fail or have to cut it short and lose progress. Still got 15 hours out of it before moving it on

When playing Splatoon 2 on Saturday I had a full on de-sync of the right joy con.

Is this the wireless issue? or a joy con problem? The left one is bang on.

Anyone on the fence over Owlboy should seriously consider it as it's great. Really nice story with beautiful art style and soundtrack. It's kind of a metroidvania puzzle platformer with a cool flying mechanic where you pick up your allies who all have different weapon types. Not completed it yet but I've loved everything about it so far.

The left one is almost always fine. Weak WiFi and right joy con signal issues go together with the common wireless radio problem.

After getting a new switch I never suffered right joy con issues even with non "repaired" launch joy cons.

OK. I need to look into replacing my Switch at some stage then. New joy cons isnt going to resolve this. Not sure how it can work as my friend bought the Switch for me from Nintendo. Will speak with him and go from there.
