*** Nintendo Switch ***

I found it more interesting that they will let 3rd party games use it.

The app is crap. I do hope with the Switch online they just integrate the functionality into the Switch for when its docked at least. The app makes sense for on the go (in a way) but docked at home, its pointless.

That's what they did with the PS4 version. Main game on disk and a 10GB download for the DLC.

Blizzard have said that all content will be on the cart, I think it'll be significantly smaller than the PS4 version due to simpler textures and other assets.

Apparently the PS4 install size is much bigger than the PC version for some reason (maybe due to how PS4 handles localised content).

I totally agree, just weird saints row of all games to make it there

I think Saint Row 3 fills a gap in the Switch library, and although I've never played it the game seems very highly praised.

We have to consider things on a per publisher basis when thinking about why certain games are released. THQ Nordic wanted to bring a game/port to the Switch and they chose SR3.

Which THQ game are you surprised they didn't choose instead?

SR3 better be cheap, its £7 on steam.....

SR4 is only £10.

I own both but I have never played them.

Maybe, but we know that won't happen, but I'm in the minority here, will pay more gladly as I can sit on the train for an hour and a half playing it, that's worth 30 quid for me, makes my commute fun

What sort of battery life do you get? does it have bluetooth for headphones?

Sorry didn't see this. Battery life depends on the game. Something like Zelda can kill it in 3 hours or so but something less demanding like Stardew Valley can increase that a lot. I have a USB-C power bank which charges faster than consumption so it's not really a problem. I think you can buy bluetooth dongles for wireless but all my headphones are wired.

In other news the Hollow Knight free DLC releases today!

And apparently it's going to go on sale at £7.50 or so!

Regarding Bluetooth, frustratingly it doesn't have it, but I just keep the cable for my headphones in my Switch case so can use them wired easily

I'd jump in for that price, where did that rumour come from?

I've never understood the desire for Bluetooth headphones on the switch. It's never more than an arms length away from you and I hate faffing with batteries.

It's on HUKD.

My desire for bluetooth headphones comes from the fact that I exclusively own bluetooth headphones, so if the Switch had it as well, I'd not have to worry about whether or not I have an aux cable with me.

I don't care even a little that it was £11 only a few months ago. I would happily pay 3x that for Hollow Knight. Buy buy buy!
