Is that coming to the Switch? I've played about half of it on the PC and it's excellent. Best turn based strategy game I've played for a long, long time.

It's out now. Turn based strategy is my jam so I'm pleased it's on the switch.

Aaaghhh it's so good! It's like Advance Wars, but tighter. Absolutely lovely game.

I am livid that there hasn't been a Nintendo Wars game on the Switch, so I'm always keeping my eye out for alternatives (that aren't medieval themed).

Wargroove, but the aesthetics put me off.

Edit: Mario and Rabbids is great too.

Banner Saga was ok. The battle system is a bit clunky at times but with the stories being so good I didn't mind too much. Need to finish the second one and I'll then probably get the third.

I'll check out into the breach.

Got Banner Saga on my phone, don't feel like it's worth paying for twice sadly. I do need to play Mario +Rabbids though

Into the breach was the only interesting game for me.

I watched it, none of it appealed. One or two of them just looked like terrible and lazily developed games.

The cats one peaked my wifes interest

I don't think it was in the main showcase video, but Transistor was also announced for November release. Another turn based strategy that I'd highly recommend.

Bastion, from the same developer was also announced and is very good, releasing Sept 13th (in US at least, not sure date is confirmed for EU).

Not turn based, but Bad North looks like a perfect game for the Switch.

Got Banner Saga on my phone, don't feel like it's worth paying for twice sadly. I do need to play Mario +Rabbids though

Mario+Rabbids is so good. I've sold my copy but I'm keeping an eye on it because I want the DK add-on. I didn't much like the exploring but the battles are fantastic.

I thought the DLC was independent, so you should be able to play it without the core game. Do some research before buying it though!

I thought that too, but you do in fact need the core game.

They wrongly used the word "standalone" when advertising the fact that the DK expansion could be purchased independently of the season pass.
