*** Nintendo Switch ***

Crystal ball time. Do you think they'll release a BoTW with season pass included, kinda like a GOTY? I'm tempted to pick up a copy as a few turn up on the MM but then that thought crossed my mind. I wasn't going to get a Switch until Xmas but I'm tempted to sell my Ps Pro and get one now.

Doubt it, the attach rate for Zelda is very high as expected and I can't imagine many people buying a Switch and not buying Zelda at some point.

There might be a Zelda & Switch bundle at some point but think they'll keep the DLC as a paid add on, Nintendo never did a GOTY version of MK8 or Smash on the Wii U.

Might be different on Switch but I'd say buy and enjoy and skip the DLC for now. You might be sick of Zelda by the time the DLC comes out.

The launch bundle is a couple of chests which is pointless, some interesting quality of life stuff is due in the first actual pack but nothing really substantial until pack 2 around Xmas time.

I read about the DLC and that was another factor in waiting until Xmas time so I could play Zelda with the improvements/extras.
I could still get one and play MK8 I guess but I'd probably hang on to the PS4 just incase.

I doubt it's going to decrease in price significantly before xmas. Maybe it'll be bundled with a crappy game for £20.

Not sure I'd bother waiting 7 months for £40 saving max.

The waiting wasnt really to do with financials. It was more, I feel I'll be wasting a season pass if I got tired of the the game before Xmas but then to counter that I can always play MK and Stardew Valley when it appears and save Zelda for later.
I'm also thinking stock might be more limited at Xmas and I may have issues with controllers or dead pixels so will be easier to solve beforehand.

Get one now, with Mario coming out in the summer there will be another peak in sale and harder to find.

That is if you really after one, get the Zelda seasons pass when or if you want/can. The game is perfectly enjoyable without it. Some say the heroe's path might even ruin the core element of the game as a big part of the fun is not knowing where you've been.

After 4 weeks with Zelda Botw and my switch I flogged it all, the game was good to start with, but then it just got repetitive, it was certainly no Ocorina of Time.

The games for the coming year just aren't good enough in my opinion, at least none that I can see appeal to me at all. Re-hashing old games isn't good enough either.

Oh well, at least I got my money back for the console, lost a bit on the game and I still have to sell the Zelda Deluxe travel case...I'll be back on the ps4 :)

I want to play zelda but that is the only reason I would get the switch :/

Mainly my reasoning was Zelda and loving it at the minute, great fun. However also got Mario kart 8 and looking forward to odyssey, splatoon 2 and dragon quest so will have plenty to keep me busy and something to look forward to aswell.

I thought mario was winter hence waiting! If it's summer then I'll buy one tomorrow

Yeah Mario is holiday 2017 so probably November. Honestly, if you're even mildly interested in the Switch just get one now. It's a fantastic bit of tech and there is really no reason to wait.

For anyone excited about the new street fighter game, check this out...

Now that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is out in the wild, the next big release we have to look forward to is Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. Though it’s another enhanced port, this promises to be the definitive version of the game which essentially kicked off the fighting genre as we know it today. The game will support all standard control schemes, but for those of you that are looking for something more traditional, third party manufacturer HORI has got you covered.

The Real Arcade Pro V was announced shortly after the Switch’s launch (we only just caught wind of it), but it seems this will be the perfect companion release for Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers and any other fighters that will no doubt be made for the hybrid going forward. As of now, there’s still no information on when we can expect it to release, but given the impending release of Street Fighter, there’s a good chance this could release close to it.

What do you think? Do you prefer using fight pads? Will you be picking up Street Fighter again? Drop us a comment in the section below.

Anyone's Switch bent? I think mine is slightly, if you take joycons off and lay on a flat surface, definitely noticeable. Is this something that's covered under warranty? Mostly play handheld.

I've read thats it's happened to a few people.
1 guy sent it back to get fixed and he still hadn't got it back 3 weeks later

My PS4 is redundant since I bought a Switch. Fact.

I haven't used my PS4 or Xbox One since the Switch came out.

Still both great consoles but being able to just pick up the Switch and play wherever I am is great.

I currently have too many games on the Switch and not enough time to play, thinking the summer might be a bit light as Arms and Splatoon don't really appeal so will be interesting to see what else is announced E3.
