*** Nintendo Switch ***

The Switch is amazing. I adore it. I've been playing games for a long time but this last 9 months or so have been up there with the best of times. I have a PS4 and an XB1 and they barely get a look in. Right now I don't really care about anything that isn't on the Switch.
 
XC2 is just a joy to play the story has sucked me right in it's really charming and there's so many stats and stuff to level up I can't wait to dive into it properly !
 
GOTY Awards are live at 01:30 our time and there is likely to be lots of games announced that are unheard of currently. I hope we get some Switch info :)

The joy con grips themselves alone are worth the money. They (imo) hugely improve the feel. The cover isn't the prettiest but its very functional and keeps it well protected. Especially when using it on the move. It can also be removed and applied very quickly. And it gives much better stability than the kick stand :)

Similar to you I fly a lot and I honestly cannot remember the last time I docked my switch to play on the TV. It's a permanent fixture of my hand luggage and even the bag I take to my office. I have a spare 30 minutes? I fire it up...

Anything that offers stability and protection ticks my boxes!
 
I play mostly handheld. I'm up to 30 hours on X2 and about 8 were on the TV.

I spend an hour a day on trains plus for the last few weeks have been playing every time my GF puts I'm a celebrity on.

Still on my original screen protector from day one but it has a few scratches on that appear dock related (on the black screen surround) so anyone getting one for Christmas should purchase a protector as well.

Nice! :cool: it should serve you well. Likewise mine always comes to the office with me. My colleagues are waiting on me getting Mario Kart to make lunch times more interesting! :D

Recently I've been playing more in handheld/on the go than docked. This consoles suits my life so well its insane.
 
Are those joy con grips really good phate? I play quite a bit in hand held, started using pro controller though as my hands start hurting after holding it for too long

Yeah, they make a massive difference. I only have small hands and find them great. They must be a god send for those with big hands! Thing is they're cheap enough to be worth a punt even if they don't make much of a difference :)

I am glad I have them for sure! They're very good in handheld mode as well.
