No idea :) fao-ozaudio

does that mean you'll join up?

the trust is to contact a member is it not, what did i do? did i contact you?. I never said you have to join, i was simply asking in a polite way.

You are not making any friends by spamming people via trust. We have already had a conversation via e-mail where I said I'm not able to fold like I used to, yet you've sent me another message today about it.

If you continue, you'll end up banned as people will start to report you. Please stop.

what time was that then? before 14.51 im guessing.

your all free to ignore and delete the messages.

Assuming that is directed to me, I got a message from you at 14:00. Previous to that one on the 24th where we had a short e-mail conversation about the fact I used to fold seriously before, but stopped due to the electric costs.

If you are going to spam (which will get you banned so I wouldn't recommend it) at least keep a record as to who you've already spammed! :p

lol no, at the last person who commented, vegeta . i forgot i already messaged you sorry!

Should think yourselves lucky.

I got an Email, clicked on the link and ended up here, thought, ok i used to fold a couple of years ago i don't mind helping out.
Only then to be told "its not worth folding on an AMD rig" followed up by the person who Emailed me with "unless were about to be stomped and need every point available"

Nice eh?

Well i said the later part, but rather than say yes or no i said that, is it worth it to you or not is the correct answer, you are still doing workunits for standford so anything do you do weather on nvidia or ati is 1 extra work unit thats completed , most people just think people cause nvidia gets more points you should only use them, ati still does work units , you just dont get as many points for them. i remember using my old ati 4870 when i very first did any kind of folding around 1 year ago

You Email me.

Its not worth the power consumption, wear and tear to my rig running 6 very overclocked CPU cores at 100% for hours on end when the person who asked me to partake to this team effort in points gain has an odd proviso to what colour my components are.

If i chose to donate the use of my AMD computer to standford's worthy cause i will, and then give those points to a team who would appreciate them without a predisposition to brand snobbery.

i have no brand preferance, i just happen to have a nvidia gpu.

no need to say sorry to me :) you folded when you wanted to with hardware that was able to fold. I have only been asking if people would like to join or rejoin, nothing more, this is upsetting some people oviously which i wasnt really after doing. im after an easy life around here lol.

That's ok then. Wish I can afford high end GPU graphic card. As my old GTX 260 (over 8 years old had gone dead) at present I am using intel HD3000 on the i7 2700K chip is more than enough for me at present.

I fold with CPU only now, but not 24/7 as I have to pay for the electricity. ozaudio sent me one message only and it was nice to hear from a trust member.

Why is it that NVIDIA cards are better for folding, do they have more stream processor or whatever it is that we use?
