Had a quick bash on lunch. Starting planet a lovely poop brown colour. Got my ship up and running, went to space, didn't know how to boost, went back to planet, landed at shelter, saw some stuff I could buy, have no credits.
Music is lovely. Shame about the FOV....tempted to get it on PC as well, my high-gamut monitor will look beautiful with this game....
Literally the first planet I was dumped on was highly radioactive but very lush and diverse. I had to get my **** together fast and get off the planet. Luckily the learning curve isn't too steep. There isn't much of a tutorial though. Which was refreshing.
I know it's early days but is everyone here happy with this, from what they've played so far? Other than being sucked back in to Destiny I'm not really playing much atm.
Loving it too. Feels very 80's sci-fi! The distances between objects, planets, space stations, points of interest etc is absolutely immense. I wish we could conquer FTL travel in our lifetime, sigh
With all of the issues that currently plague the game and the (what I can only assume as bogus from googling) information provided by devs is the game still worth the purchase?
Looking at getting it for PC when it comes out in two days.
