No more btjunkie :-(

Exactly, once my alarm goes off in the morning my phone refreshes my private rss feed and I click to download the latest shows in HD. Once I'm out of the shower they're ready to watch on the train. There's currently no paid service which offers up to date content with that quality and convenience. If I could do that, and stream to my tv, I would pay it would be a no brainer.

Iplayer, netflix, sky on demand etc are all heading in the right direction at least.

Is there a guide where it shows me how to set this up? Sounds like a great idea, at the moment i just download via my pc and then transfer ro my phone.

Invites please? does this make you feel like a GOD? Are you special?

No I am not special unfortunately :(.
I only give out invites to people I know in rl, to be honest though I don't use them that much anymore as usenet is just so much better.
The reason why it's hard to get invites is on some of the sites, you are liable if you invite someone and they have poor performance. So for example if I invited someone on this forum and they leeched for a couple of days then I might get banned.
I don't think you saw the context of that quote, I was saying that usenet is better for 99% of people and actually it's a waste of bandwidth using torrents.

ah it's one of them sharing ratio sites where leechers get banned. Good way to ensure the community shares. I just wanted to see what you would say I would never use something like that. Thanks though.

Yeah it's not really good for most people as the upload speed compared to download speed is 1:10. It's not too bad though if you have a seedbox.
What is good though is that they have massive retention times on private tracekrs, I can find torrents from 2006 that have seeders.

That's good, this is one of the problems with torrents is that they die unless they have seeders. These days people don't want to seed so torrents die.

Call me when you have sickbeard/Couchpotato/newznab/Headphones available for torrents. Nope.jpg, with newznab it's literally one click download and with sickbeard you can add tv shows that are downloaded automatically. Same with couchpotato which is for films and headphones which is for music.
Just to let you know, I am a private tracker user with access to one of the most exclusive ones in the world. So don't tell me I don't use torrents.

interesting post i like the sickbeard and couchpotato but what is the newsznab used for ?

Piratebay actually has a section called 'physibles'. It contains 3d printer files, so you can print out things. Of course it can't manage things like headphones and so on, but I've seen a Leman Russ on there for people who play Warhammer!

Netflix has got the right idea. Why pirate stuff when Netflix is cheap, easy and legal?
definitely the way forward in my opinion, i've used the trial and its great but the only downside is the library needs to grow massively before i pay monthly, i'm sure that will change soon though with the popularity of the service and the growing library.
all my music i listen to is over spotify premium.
subscription services like this are great, and in my opinion the way forward, everything is so easy to get in good quality and for a very reasonable price.

Netflix charges yes?

I saw the latest Mission Impossible & It was trash, I am glad I didn't pay a penny to see it.

We shouldn't be paying good money to watch Kak.

Torrents all the way, Yeah

Thats a joke right? Are you some sort of fool?

You really honestly think its ok to watch something for free, whine like a mule about it and then STILL think its ok to pirate stuff!

Your something else.....

And you think it's ok to charged good money for inferior products?

Caveat emptor. It's your choice whether to buy it or not. Just because you alone think it does not appeal to your taste or come up to your standards does not give you the right to steal it.

media must be one of the only things you pay for, that you never own.

and whats with the 'Release movie to cinema' then 'release to DVD' then release to 'netflix/sky' ?

people have been ripped off too long, and those unable to make it to a cinema, have waited too long from it to come to DVD.

ok to complain but heres my model.

i pay for a movie, say £20. that £20 gives me the right to watch it, at the cinema/home on the same release date, i am also given a code to redeem at HMV for my DVD/Digital copy. to keep for future viewing.

with this, people on the move, disabled/unable to go to cinema and on a mix of media players can watch this 'movie'

and if you really want to? go to the cinema.

personaly i find the cinema a waste of money now, always some annoying kid there chatting or on a mobile 'facebookin' or some other distraction, coupled with a **** movie like Mission Impossible Ghost Proticol or Ghost Rider 2. its all just too much

What sort of attitude is that towards the movie industry? That is one movie. Plenty more to watch thats good and for 5.99 to turne legal... gosh it breaks the bank...
