No more Type-R in Europe

Might fit a turbot and see if that works :(

For the lolz:

Shame the last model (FN2) ended up being worse than the one that came before it (EP3).

(EK9 owners will probably say they got progressively worse :))

That's what I thought, did anyone buy the latest model? Didn't it use the same engine as the previous one, whilst weighing more?

The tree buggers must want us to ride horses or drive electric cars that get power from Gas and Coal power stations?

This is also killing Aston Martin, shame as they'll be a legend in about 10 years :(

Let's hope the Type R returns better than ever, and keeps the "tree-people" happy :)

Wow i'm really getting frustrated, could be too much caffiene or it could be the people that continue over an over on the Type-R branding

First off, no one knows if there will or will not be another Type-R because they have only killed off the current models, seeing as though the engine doesnt meet EU requirements and the Civic is nearing the end of its five year cycle that makes pretty good sense to me

Second, Type-R is just stickers and badges, marketing, it doesnt mean anything and doesnt spell the future of anything, I hope they do kill it off and they start making some decent performance petrol hybrids without the fanboy Type-R branding so that it keeps the chavvy boy racer image away that its grown into over recent years

New model is released end of next year, as you say nothing has been killed of. Honda simply do not deem it worthy of making the modification, when the model is being scrapped and replaced in around 12months time.
