No Portal 2 thread?

I'm not normally one for buying games so close to release, and I rent most stuff nowadays anyway, but this is getting amazing reviews and everyone is pimping it and it's got the better of me. Managed to get it on eBay for £27.50 which I'm quite pleased with.
 
My mate got this today and brought it round for a quick co-op blast. Great so far, much prefer it to the 1st so far though i havent touched the single player campain.
 
This is easily one of the best games I've ever played and it works so well on the PS3. Looking forward to playing coop on it at some point when PSN is live again!
 
Do I get this on the 360 or PS3? Not fussed about online play so am only really interested in which console runs it the best :)
 
Pretty much the same from what I've heard. But I believe you get the PC version free with the PS3 version. Then it becomes a choice of Achievements vs Trophies...
 
You might be right but I don't think that video is conclusive. Practically identical from what I can see.
 
There was a write up to go with it but i cannot find it said something about some sort of AA being used in the ps3 version and not on 360 im sure digital foundary will do analysis soon .
i got it on ps3 due to getting a free copy on pc and seeing what this steam overlay was about yet im still waitin due to psn being down :( .
 
Right. I've had another bash at this tonight, and I've got as far as Cave Johnson introducing himself. Valve really know a thing or two about writing and pacing.
 
Only one shot I can see any real difference on, the one of the desk. Both have aliasing but 360 has slightly more.

Rest look almost identical (one looks actually identical) with the only different being 360 looks slightly lighter.
