No Pre Order or Official UK Price on the GTX 1080

Does anybody know when the 3rd party cards with the better coolers are going to be released?
If it's a month or so I'll wait but if it's three months... :(

So every reseller is just banging out Founders Editions cards? Why? I thought that was supposed to be an "Nvidia Exclusive"?

And when do the standard non-reference cards come out?

Nvidia pushing the boundaries with pricing - but they do this every year and will continue to do so as long as AMD doesn't have an exceptionally strong alternative.

EVGA rep posted that NDA on none reference AIB cards is lifted on 27th

why not just buy the non FE and water cool it?

Then no thermal throttle, quite and will run as good as any custom cooled card

job done.

If they announce a date for them I'll be doing that but no one seems to really know other than the 1080 FE cards. EKWB are releasing the blocks on Friday, just want to know if there's much price difference between FE and normal reference cards. Nvidia might even hold off releasing them and milk the FE version for a bit.
