John Wish?
I think he means Johnny Wishbone...
John Wish?
Cool okI think he means Johnny Wishbone...
And this is why I hate autocorrect. I literally typed in John Wick letter by letter and it still autocorrected it into nonsense.John Wish?
IMO it wasn't.I'm sorry I thought it was utter drivel
I had some issues with this already but this video has sent me over the edge
I was enormously underwhelmed by the villians.
Also expected a far darker and sadistic ending than saying goodbye over the phone.
Like so:
So we have the disposable bad guy get into a gunfight with bond and predictably die but obviously wound bond badly. Before the bad guy dies he grabs at the stuffed rabbit and talks some trash.
Bond opens the blast doors and finds a boat to struggle away from the island to Madeline and child.
Big emotional reuniting. Bond still bleeding away like he's packing 50 litres of ribena.
Child comes to get the rabbit off him. The missiles start flying over.
He holds Madeline.
There's a suspicious silence and the crunch of glass.
Half the broken vial falls out of the rabbit.
Bond sees them die before him and screams holding them as the missiles obliterate the island in the background.
Film ends with some kind of artistic display of them dead and him questionably dead and not moving.
Start playing that all the time in the world music but no vocals and extra violins.
It could have emotionally traumatised millions of people and they wasted the opportunity!
Looks like nobody else can answer it either.
DON'T GIVE THEM IDEAS!!!So many issues with this movie. Mainly I will go with convoluted plot, lack of clear motive for the bad guy (who doesn't age in 30 years...), zero chemistry with the love interest and Bond giving up at the end.
The fact they actually killed him is completely against the spirit of Bond and I'm not sure how they can have any continuity with the current cast if they introduce a new Bond (as opposed to 007). Maybe they'll pull some nonsense and magic up a long lost son from one of his dozens of relationships, who also happens to be called James.
Just saw this. Was just about a 6/10 for me. Watchable if you don't concentrate too much. It was a bit of fluff. Glad I didn't watch it on a 4k screen as
The 007 character was poor. In fact no-one did anything much other than Craig. Ana De Armas was good but there was nothing to her character. There should have been more screen time and a better back story.
IMO bond should be much darker. I though that was direction it was going with the opening scenes in Casino Royale, but as the end of the DG era it's almost got to the point of the Rodger Moore comedy bond. OK not quite that far, but still.
Bond movies have never been great stories but perhaps that is an avenue they need to consider. Really improve the writing. Get rid of teams of writers and have only one or two people writing the story and the screenplay.
Reminds me of what a crap show Mission Impossible has become too. The first one was well written and was good movie. Gun fights and stunts were limited. Now there's not story and it's all gun fights and stunts and silly parlour tricks.
Saw this for the first time tonight.I'm sorry I thought it was utter drivel
I'm having serious doubts about that. Are there any good films anymore?!?
Saw this for the first time tonight.
Genuinely one of the worse films I've seen in my lifetime. Equal to Prometheus in the dire stakes.
There was almost nothing good about any of it.
The action is 100% video game, now. Bond even has regenerating health, it seems.
The script was just the most mindless, boring, inexplicable, contrived, disjointed, incomprehensible, garbage.
The overall experience was horrid and I will not be watching this a second time, for any reason. Much like I won't be seeking out the Noro virus for another try. Once was sufficient.
I'm having serious doubts about that.
