I have the PL1 which are a great price and I can't hear them at all, all I can hear is the HDDs and one of them is making the side panel vibrate loudly
Would getting 5 of the 600RPM models be sufficient cooling for a single GPU build in a 760t, or would I need to up it to the 900/1200 RPM models? Planning to get it as quiet as possible, whilst keeping the black and white look.

Yep 5 fans would be plenty and you won't hear a thing or whisper quiet at most I'd imagine.
My HDDs are the louest things in my PC too, also causes an annoying resonance on my side panel. Going to be modding my HDD cage soon with elastic cord to dampen the vibrations.

I'm not sure if it's one or more HDDs vibrating I am pretty sure it is only the one doing it! Will have to do some more fault finding soon i;e disconnecting the HDDs to see which one(s) are responsible.
Not yet, I was thinking about it before this thread though.
The F140XP was what I came to the conclusion of, but then I found out they're AF optimised, not SP, would it really make that much of a difference I wonder?
The FQ-121 (of which OcUK brand watercooling fans are based from) has 0.54 - 1.82mm h2o (67.5cfm max, 1000-1800rpm but it actually can do <800rpm, 16-24dBA). These are a blend of airflow/pressure/silence so these Noiseblocker eloop fans must be airflow/silence rather than static pressure based. Don't forget speed control can make big difference.
I had the original fan fitted which seemed fine, but due to its sloped design, it did not actually "Seal" against the rad, you would get air blown off between the fan and the rad creating a nice dirt line on the window of my Phantek case.
swapped to a dual pair of fans that came with my Corsair H110, slightly more noise (as in just about noticeable) but excellent cooling temperate on both a 770 and a 980 Ti.
I picked the B14-PS purely due to 4 pin PWM ability.
I have to say sound seems to have returned to a level of a single fan but still with the excellent cooling ability.
I am rather impressed!
As my pc is on a good chunk of every single day a 6 year warranty makes me feel rather safe.
