Not a Racist Rant!!

your mixing up ethnicity and race

No, I'm not. "White" is a race. "White British" is an ethnicity. Since there are more white British in Southall than any other ethnic group, you are in a racial minority if you're a white resident of Ilford, but an ethnic majority if you're white British.

It is not unfair to argure that the majority of the people in newham are of Bristish Asian descent, and outnumber White people, in fact the stats speak for themselves.

Absolutely. I've already agreed with this. There are more non-whites than whites; however, white British are the largest ethnic group.

Being concerned about the massive changes taking place in Britain due to uncontrolled mass immigration is racist of course.

People like, when moving to a strange new country, knowing they will know and be near people they like, or at least share their culture or maybe their primary language.

EXACTLY THE SAME as most British ex-pats living near other ex-pats in Spain. There's whole 'Spanish' towns virtually chocka with English ex-pats only, sell English papers, restaurants do big English greasy fry-ups etc. If you can understand the ex-pats reasoning .. you'll understand the reasoning behind the predominantly asian parts of England.

A similar question could be asked of why west/southwest/south London is full of Aussies/Kiwis/Saffas (locations/nationalities not respective). I don't know why it started but it's somewhat self perpetuating as people who come to London probably know at least one other person, and based on their advice look for a home in a similar area. And then another person does the same thing. Repeat.

Parts of manchester have been no go areas for whites for years. the difference is they then dont make life difficult nationally with respect to "their rights" to the point where nativity plays get banned because it might offend them.

Right OP I have more time for an answer for you because I have plenty of experience of your question.

I was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 1958 and if we turn your question around we ex-pats (anybody except Nigerians) had to live on Compounds, if we lived outside a Compound we were asking for it.
So therefore in Nigeria there were areas where ex-pats made for because they felt safer.

We came back to Stoke in 1960(!) but still kept going back to Nigeria.
According to my Dad there were no foreigners where we lived which was about 200 yards from Stoke Railway Station - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&s...N2DyHbNphnBukNGEb71Dcw&cbp=12,101.61,,0,18.75 (We lived where that structure is).
According to my Dad there were no foreigners when they moved in but by the time we left in 1968 it was about 75% Asian and all my mates were Asian.
I went back around 1990 when I met an old mate at a computer club and the area was 100% Indian so by that time all the Pakistani's had left.
As you can see it is all flattened now.

This area (to the left of the Railway Station) is Shelton - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&s...=_5BfWREv6bhPb6woGE4Zaw&cbp=12,11.56,,0,-0.02
Looking up the road is Stoke College on the left & right but all the rest of this area is Asian.
Once again this was an all white area but Asians obviously feel safe to come to Stoke and to get a house in this area.

A mile up the road from me was another white area called Normacot - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&s...Ou0ku9ZVY2xy_VqzZj_uw&cbp=12,174.55,,0,-10.45 but a few decades on and it's about 80% Asian.
I have a lot of Asian and white friends who live in this area and my white friends constantly get letters through their doors from Asian family's offering to buy their houses for at least 20% more than normal.
What is also interesting is that the houses are all terraced BUT inside they have doors leading into one another.
I went to visit one Asian mate and he took me to see his brother who lived 5 doors up and we walked through everybody's front rooms but they were all family.

So in a nutshell, if you suddenly had money and you wanted to live abroad would you take a chance and live in an area full of 'foreigners' or would you look for areas already occupied by Brits?
